just wana ask IT Fair price same as online price ?

yes. The only difference is the freebies.

U buy online u can only get $100 off for typecover.

At IT fair, u get pretty much decent stuff. I got a free typecover, free arc mouse, 1TB HDD.

But the standard free stuff advertised is MS365 1yr subscription, 1TB HDD, $100 off for typecover, USB HUB.

Could some SP3 Pro owners help me check if the power adapter provided for the Singapore sets is a true 3 pin charger with grounding?

Am also thinking if I should get the i5/4gig 128 (Seems to be the nicest price point) or go all the way for the i7/8gig 256? Is it true that the i7 has a lower base clock speed and hence doesn't hit the heat throttling limit as much?

Main use will be for mobile editing in Lightroom, light gaming (E.g. Civ 5, Cities - Games that are touch or trackpad friendly) and the occasional drawing in Manga Studio or Artrage.

No adapter is all the same. so even though the plug is 3 pin, the earth pin is just there for show.

Not sure if this is normal but my friend and I are both getting weird issues with the stylus when the power is plugged in.

It happens really randomly so we are unable to pinpoint what the exact cause is, or how we can reliably reproduce it.

There seems to be some side effects due to the grounding issues of the charger. Sometimes the pen would fail to register for long periods and sometimes the pen would go haywire (it would draw many small dots / scratches where I am writing, or it would simply become very very jagged).

I asked around and all my friends who own an SP3 is experiencing this issue, though another friend who has a SP2 has no problem with the stylus.

is it when using onenote? mine the stylus will sometime fail to register when onenote is syncing. for the jagged problem, usually restarting onenote will solve the issue.
