Google not working in MS SP3

Anybody can search using Google in SP3? Can't even set it as the default browser.

My surface Pro 3 screen crack brand new from the box opening, call the seller he say need to send to microsoft office for repair.

you mean the screen already cracked when you unboxed it brand new?
you bought from local retailer or Microsoft online? shouldn't you be entitle to a one to one brand new enchanged if that's the case?


heard from some bros in the forum if contact via surface support online chat, they will just simply courier you a new one and take back your spoilt one.

Yup that's me. Either contact surface support online or can go down to kallang. Don't need to give a call before going down.

Microsoft shipping for the SP3 have slipped to 4-5 days. Choices of colour for the keyboard left with dark blue and black. Is this a sign that the new SP4 launch is imminent?

if can wait 1-2months, SP4 should be announcing soon.

for me, bought a resale i5 128 at a good price to 'tong' until sp4 arrive.
most resale set in the market now will still have few months of warranty left since most of them bought it during last year aug-dec.

just got my surface pro 3...a laptop replacement it can be....but for so many tasks that i can do with a tablet...it gets too hot.

You might want to call Microsoft customer service to hear what they say. If you're lucky, you can get a new one.

How hot does your SP3 get?

SP3 (i5, 8 gb, 256GB) has been my daily driver for the last 7 months and has been great! However, there is one thing that has always bugged me: it tends to run hot and so battery life is affected.

How has your experience been in our weather: Does your screen get hot to the touch and the fan audibly spinning in the following situations?
1) desktop IE, mail app and Word open, OneDrive in the background
2) YouTube watching (IE metro), mail app open, OneDrive in the background
- I'm thinking of plugged in (normal scenario for me) but battery power feedback is welcomed

I would say warm for the tasks you mentioned. Mine only gets hot when doing graphic and 3d work.

Even after say 2 or more hours?
Mine starts at warm but somehow gets hotter over time
- normally in the meantime I open and close various light to medium load apps (excluding lightroom and games)

Check amazon.com. They do sell powerbank and connector for the SP3
