repel hit 4.5 before with noctua u12p se2.... just that he wasnt comfortable with a load temp of 85 degrees or something loli would like to see 4.5ghz on an i5 too
air cooled seems like 4ghz is the highest so far

Hmm... actually I find the K62's external design a bit... dull? Imo add one 360 rad at the back and one 240 rad on top perfect! Its like adding afterburners to a jet fighterHaha, in the mist of being poisoned. But the external rads doesnt appeal to me that much

People use alu casing cause its light and it doesnt rust? :x not becuase of cooling performance?
If your radiator is outside your rig and you have waterblocks on the major heat producing components you don't need more than 1 or 2 fans for your case - getting alu just for lower temps definitely not needed

If you setup the loop properly, I'd say alu vs steel will have negligible difference - of greater importance is airflow inside the case. If I were to guess I'd say maybe 1 degree difference at most if rads are near the openings with plenty of airflow.

I always thought it will be best at achieving lower temp with alu casing + WC...
Practically no difference... bear in mind my conclusion uses analysis and logic - I have no empirical data to support it.
Imo if you want your rads inside, just get a big case with proper WC fittings.Ah thanks
