Hi guys who are looking at this thread. It's been awhile since I build a new desktop. Currently I hope to get a new mITX desktop for gaming as my table is quite small. I understand that the price is definitely more expensive than atx desktop but hope the pros over here can help me with it. My budget is around 1.2k. no need monitor keyboard and mouse just the CPU will do. Thanks!

Depends on what GPU you want, 1.2$ is really tight.

1080 Ti is $1.2k
1080 is are und $900
1070 is $700
1060 6GB is $400
1060 3GB is $300

You can check out jonsbo for their cases. Some cases can take matx and itx motherboard while being cheap and small.

SG13 or RVZ02

The SG13 grills looked like a dust vacuum :s13: and psu is limited to 150mm or lesser, website recommends 140mm due to cables.
The RVZ02 psu is limited to sfx.
My impression is sfx=$$$$$, he needs to pay more for higher wattage.

Looks like a bad choice for his budget unless he settles for at most gtx1060

Funny you didn't notice these things when recommending Jonsbo

Sorry but I fit a evga 160mm psu inside my jonsbo c2.

I won't say it will be an easy fit but atleast it doesn't restrict his parts form factor and there's bigger case like c3 .etc.

Edit: i just checked my psu specs, it seems to be 165mm rather than 160mm. Thanks.

Your budget is actually fine since you don't need peripherals.

The main issue is actually how much space you want to take up on your table and which cases are to your liking.
Some casing allows you to lay flat on the table then you can place the monitor on top.

What's the most recommended ITX casing for a Deep Learning machine with GTX 1070 at least?

Something like Aftershock impluse or a desktop that are able to withstand a monitor on top of it?

Isn't Node 202 made of plastic. You must have the triforce of courage to use it as a stand.

Steel frame that's very rigid as long as you don't mod/cut it. The plastic top and bottom enclosure is very tough as well. It's sturdier than Silverstone offering imo. Work in one of them before and I really do like it a lot.

Interesting.. I've never seen a case made of plastic.
Would like to see one and how it will mount a heavy psu.
