I really feel like migrating to countries with better 3G speed
They are useless. I wrote to IDA to inform them of the poor 3G network in areas like Suntec/Holland village. Esp in HV, loading google.com can take ages! IDA wrote to Singtel to respond to me and guess what? After 1 month Singtel could only says those areas has peak traffic. so after 6pm, do help to understand that due to peak load and bandwidth sharing, network may be slow. Thank you for understanding.
What type of answer is that? Why is Singtel introducing video streaming at $5 per month for BPL or Olympic video steaming when they are even get the basic 3G service right? Why did I not experience slow 3G service in San Franciso/LA right in the middle of town at peak periods under AT&T? Why did I experience much faster 3G service in HK in tsim sha tsui in their shopping center this year right in the middle of summer with queues everywhere the whole 4 days I was there from Thursday to Sunday?
And we are paying a premium for this lousy service compared to AT&T or even HK 3G.

Wow, those in Woodlands can even consider signing up wih U Mobile instead!Visiting JB now, I just popped in a U Mobile prepaid 3G SIM into my Huawei Mifi router so I could use my iPad. This was the consistent result...

I even hit 19Mbps downstream on one reading.
SingTel should hang its head in shame...
Have just busted Singtel mobile broadband quota by 2GB, was just Youtube-ing non HD videos throughout the holiday period, couldnt have exceeded by that much. Could there be technical glitch on their meters?
Best is send email to IDA and show that those issue you are experiencing while on Starhub connection
Now the best LTE speed and experience will be on Singtel with their coverage and speed.
