came back from hk - the rates there are generally bad...
went ard TST and only one has acceptable rate of 5.51...the rest mostly 5.01...?!?!!!

tat is quite bad sia !!!
rmb few months back went there, when the rate in arcade was 5.70
the rate there was only 5.35+
eventually changed at mongkok one shop @ 5.50
the rate diff varies alot there ...

I'm a singaporean living in hk. I change money at the Berlin exchange. It's in Central, on the 17th floor of an office building.

google it. it has one of the better or perhaps even the best rates in an accessible location. i use it often to change SGD or RMB into HKD. Do note you need a source of funds or bank withdrawal slip if changing more than 20K RMB/ SGD equiv.

Be prepared to Q tho if you don't make an appointment beforehand.
