It's true that there are shops who doesn't accept 1k notes. Shops like sasa, tea houses, eatery shops put a signage that they dun accept 1k note

Oh my... Then if I have hkd1000 how to break the notes?

I'm going in march. Should I change money now or wait till march before I fly?

Just changed 6.075 at raffles arcade second floor, money changer somewhere in the middle of the stretch. I requested for non 1000 notes but was told they only give mix.

It is not worthwhile to change currencies in Hong Kong. We tried that last year and we regretted it. You will only change there during an emergency. Otherwise, please change in Singapore first. :s13:
