Hi all. Did some research and wish to gather some opinions.

Current:
U2713HM
27" / 1440P / 60hz

Looking at:
BenQ Zowie XL2411
24" / 1080P / 144hz
Any other suggestions?

GPU:
Zotac GTX1070

Purpose:
Mainly gaming (overwatch/pubg etc)
Occasionally movies / dramas
No color editing / rendering / professional usage / work. My pc is purely for casual surfing and gaming.

Anyone switched from 27" 1440p to 24" 1080p? Was it a worthy decision?

Any best value option to purchase monitors (qoo10/lazada/amazon?)

Well best u get it locally. But sadly recent qoo10 code just ended. So u have to wait for next few days for it.

Lazada wise if u have Citi,SC or UOB card can get better codes.

Anyway Benq one is good for gaming. Can go for it.

If you need the high hz for more competitive gaming, then switch. If not, just stay with 1440p 60hz.

Or buy the 24" for gaming, running simultaneously with the 27" at the side for media purpose.

Thanks for the replies. Qoo10 and lazada comes with local warranty I suppose.

Hmm dual monitors not into consideration yet due to space constraints as my cpu is right beside. If one day I decided to put it on floor.. Beside my subwoofer lol.

Not really. Lazada/qoo10 if local seller and stock is local distributors then got warranty. Otherwise don't have or just seller warranty, which you can't expect too much out of it really.

Note the warranty type carefully. Local (manufacturer) warranty is the legit one. Local (seller) warranty is the not so sure one.

Put the cpu on the woofer perhaps? Hehe

Same setup as me. U2713HM with GTX1070.

Only played Overwatch and Starcraft.

Not a pro player, so 60hz good enough for me. Monitor still going strong, i do not see the need to change also.

Yea I realise I tend to play all the competitive fps games that's why wanna try out 144hz.
U2713HM is a good monitor for sure. Served me well without any problem at all. Very good for general purpose.

Why not use both? When surfing net, youtube etc. use your 27" 1440p. When gaming use the new 144hz monitor. Best of both worlds :D

Time to shift the PC to the floor! Once you go dual monitor it's hard to go back.

It's totally fine, I've seen people with ultrawide + normal monitor setups.

Or if you want you can get a 27" 1080p 144hz to pair with your current monitor.

1x displayport to Dell
1x displayport to BenQ 144hz

Done. Dual monitor.

Then right click empty space at desktop, go to screen resolution. Set which is 1st screen which is 2nd screen and make sure the resolutions and refresh rate tally.

Thanks! Will gpu be insufficient power as need to support 2 monitor?

GTX 1070 leh. It's enough. You don't game on both monitors. One monitor gaming the other idle.
