So I have decided to get a 27inch monitor with HDMI input as I might not overclock. Now since the price will go above 400 SGD I will need to pay customs duty for the same right ? Shipped via Fedex how much duty should I expect or is there a way to avoid customs duty by selecting something which is cheaper ?

I am thinking of a Shimian 27inch with ECO panel, Pixel Perfect panel with HDMI

You can always ask the seller if he is willing to declare another price.

If the custom were to retain the monitor, you'll have to print and bring the receipt down to proof that the item is priced at the price which the seller declared.

For this part, I am not sure how they can help.

Crossover 2755AMG - Problem

My experience and problematic, I buy one, Crossover 2755AMG to Green-Sum by Ebay, before I resolved all my doubts with the seller, I I live in mexico so the answers were somewhat "slow" by the time difference, I buy the day Monday, January 27th shipment was made on the 29th and arrived at my home the 31st of January, all right, well packed, the monitor is new, no dead pixels, as described in his Published on Ebay. on the first day I operate well.

Second day:
On the second day, I noticed that although my pc went into sleep, the monitor is completely turned off, which make me suspect, that on 2 occasions, after that the more time and use a while playing a game, turn off the monitor completely without any reason, what most feared came true, but do not panic, check the electrical connections change the cables, but still presenting it in an average of 5 times per day, is not constant, and have not found what it brings.

Progress:
I emailed the seller and he responded with the following: asking me to check the power supply (24 v) (I have no multimeter to do this), changing cables (already done), that uses a DVI-D (done), the model asks me my card is a Saphire 6870 1Gb, this supports the monitor according to what I read, he also requested to connect a secondary monitor, I have and this works even if the crossover is off. The also said that if it is a serious problem, the change my monitor.

As I write this the monitor goes off again, that's the story so far, I hope someone with a similar experience can help me, and all I'll be telling them anyway as I solve my problem.

Sorry for the grammar.

Regards

I also purchased from Green Sum from Ebay.

Both CrossOver monitor was operating well until about 1 week ago that one of them has a screen black out problem.

Ok. To be fair, it is not bad that you received the item in just a few days. And 31 Jan 2014 is the beginning of one of the major holiday for Chinese, which is the Chinese New Year.

I emailed Green Sum with regards to my problem and they did send a respond that they'll only reply to me after the Chinese New Year (aka CNY) period.

To check for power, you only need a test pen.

I hope not, although I noticed that the monitor works well, apparently the power shuts off unexpectedly, I hope it's something with the voltage or adapter and not with this board.

Chinese New Year in China can be for 15 days, so it may continue until mid Feb. That is why I didn't chase them for reply also.

Test pen looks something like this :

I emailed Green Sum again and they responded.

Now waiting for confirmation whether is it inverter board or the PCB. Hopefully they'll send me both.

As long as the DVI is DVI-I or DVI-D, it should work.
