End of story

After a few days the monitor does not present any problem (and not turned off), I decided to sell the same price to buy it does not win anything but I have this feeling that is to be switched off at any time. certainly pack it when I noticed that the panel was a iMac had the hole in the camera and microphone in the middle top. For a moment I thought to keep it, but decided to sell it, the new owner already received and is fascinated, and I asked one of the same, I thought to start selling in my country :) greetings

I cant find much info if the CROSSOVER BLACKTUNE 2755 can OC well. i dont need 120Hz, 80 - 100 would be good enough. Anyone here OCed their blacktune successfully so far? if not i will have to buy the QNIX 2710 which doesnt look as nice as the blacktune.

Can anyone take video doing fps gaming?got ghosting?

I am running 2 x CrossOver 27Q and I am playing Warface, an FPS game at full resolution of 2560x1440 with my GTX 680 4GB gfx card. I don't find that it has ghosting problem.

Anybody else can confirm also?

Ok. Gotten my 1st set on 17 May 2012 and yesterday 29 Jan 2014, one of the monitor got this problem :

And from the feedback, the fix is this :

34smouo.jpg

I read online that some of them actually open up the monitor and found the connection lose, they re-inserted and ok already.

Will try that later.

Finally got the reply from Green-Sum, they quoted me USD$95 (including shipping) for the 2 boards above. I would consider that quite expensive right?

Anyway, after I received their reply, I tried to connect my "spoilt" monitor back on 12 Feb 2014 and it miraculously worked again. But today, 13 Feb 2014, I start to notice some "flickering" on that monitor. I really hope that this 2 monitor can last me say for 10yrs. LOL!!

Anyway, I replied Green-Sum that USD$95 for the 2 boards is really expensive. Eventho I don't need them now but is it possible that they reduce the price?

Whatever their reply is .... I hope that I will not need to get any replacement PCB from them.

*finger crossed*

Hi 1magic, in my case as comment, sold the monitor, now I own an Apple Cinema Display, like 27" Used but very caring, and really the quality is excellent, and I can confirm the panel is exactly the same as used Koreans in monitors, good luck and hopefully solutions the problem soon.

Is there anyway to differentiate the green PCB board and blue PCB by model?

From what I know, they send on random.

I ordered 2 x CrossOver 27Q with pivot monitor. 1 of them came with the blue PCB and the other one came with the green PCB. See picture below.

The one that is spoilt is the blue one. Same fault also, the MOSFET is burnt.

No bloated capacitor but burnt MOSFET.

Possible to replace?

I managed to find this "18T10GH" on Aliexpress. 5pcs will cost about SGD$10 to be shipped and delivered to Singapore and send to me.

I just received this today, 24 Mar 2014. Then I proceed to solder and replace the MOSFET. It took me about 10mins. Plug it back into the monitor and it WORKED!!

What I can feel is that this MOSFET is really hot when in operation, no wonder it got burnt. So for prolong usage, I think it would be advisable to add a heatsink.

Switch behind not working correctly anymore..

Hi guys, after years of using my Crossover, the Monitor Power on button which had been finicky for quite sometimes, doesn't really work anymore. It used to be me pressing it for 4 to 6 times, clicking left right center just to switch the monitor on, now it takes up to 30+ clicks or it won't switch on at all either... Currently using Monitor Off software to switch the monitor off through PC.

Anyone else having this problem? I opened up the PCB board, the button looks and feels normal. Send a Message to Red Cap as to whether does he send a replacement PCB for it or maybe should I solder on a new Tactile button.. ?

Hi all, its been a long time since i have updated my thread..lol.. i guess i must be one of the first users to recommend this monitor. Currently my monitor is running about 2.5 years with totally no problem. I never off my screen via the power button located behind as it too much of a hassle, i just have to adjust the power saving on windows... Not sure if its correlated to preventing the monitor from spoiling faster though..
