I ordered the Achieva ShiMian. A few others too.

Crossover = Best build and stand
Yamasaki = chance to get the overclock model. (very low now though for Rev B.)
ShiMian = The cheapest now.
PCBank = apparently got highest chance for perfect display. Their box got the sticker say 0 dead pixels as well.
Davi (i think) = AG screen (need verification)

This is about 63% of the price for Dell U2711. So we are basically paying for the warranty of 3yrs.

So let's say Dell U2711 - $800
CrossOver 27Q LED - $500

Difference $300. So paying $100/yr for 3yrs warranty.

Read that the antiglare coating on 2711 is too aggressive too.
If you prefer Apple Cinema Display than Dell then you should go for the it!

Anti glare is fine. Without it .... we'll be seeing alot of reflections.

what you will need though is an active converter for your macbook to even have a chance for it to work. i think its like from dp to dual-dvi?
