Did you receive the full 5.8% interest and was it accrued daily or trued-up at the end of the period? I held for the 60 days and got confirmation from moomoo support that I was enrolled but still did not get the 5.8… by my math it’s more like 3.8%
I share before you only get the daily extra returns. To get everything you must sell all from the Cash Plus

How to make 130K eligible for 40 days?

He withdrew 80K on 7 Feb and intent to redeposit 130K.

Based on the Max Holding, it is only 80K.

Don't understand this. Sell as in to withdraw back to bank, then moomoo will credit the topup to 5.8%?

You are right, I didn't realize there is an upper limit.

The daily returns are the actual fund returns.

The extra return is paid out at the end of the promo period, in the form of a coupon. There is no need to sell to receive this coupon. See my coupon below 👇

Hi. I stumbled on this thread. I am wondering why does moomoo run this kind of campaigns. I don't recall any sale charges for buying this cash fund last year to get their welcome cash. The only gain I can think of is moomoo gets more trailer fees but I don't think that compensate the additional interest to make up 5.8% or 6.8 %.

The daily extra returns moomoo topup to 5.8% is given to you in form of coupon. E.g day1 cash Plus only 3.8% so the extra returns would be 2%. 20 days of 2% give you. The remaining 3.8% of 20 days you want to get must sell the Cash Plus holding. This is what I mean to get full 5.8% you need to sell all.

I believe moomoo has special working arrangements with Fullerton. Their Liquidity is one e.g But the condition imposed by Fullerton could be moomoo must raise XXX millions of funds in order to say get some special monies like trailer fee concept? Else why would they guaranteed that daily extra returns? No private company embark on initiatives to lose monies

Moomoo knows very well the gambling instincts of people.

If you keep your money with MooMoo, it is just a matter of time, you will click here click there and get enticed to trade TSLA options and then get hooked on to it and lose your principal 🤣

If you manage to somehow control your emotions and not do any trading, then you win :)

You see your holdings your total capital put in after 20 days will be Capital + extra. That extra is the fund returns over 20 days. So if you sell all you get the 3.8% + Capital back.

Sell no admin fee for Cash Plus I try before. Same for Mari Invest. These are mutual funds different play from ETF stocks where buy sell need pay fees. But the fund NAV shown already deduct their fees daily unlike ETF stocks only deduct one time on buy and sell.

Yes, you can assume worst case scenario always. Buy happens next business day and sell uses previous business day NAV.
Not sure if you invest in mutual funds before prior to this moomoo promotion. They all work similarly for buy and sell the delayed response that is so normal unlike ETF stocks you immediately know your price.

So far only Mari Invest up to 10k and moomoo Fullerton Liquidity fund are same day withdrawal get monies based on cutoff hours. Even for ETF stocks when sell also not same day get monies but we know the price we sold unlike mutual fund.

Moomoo has slight difference. They dont tell you exact cut off time. They also give you immediate liquidity.

The immediate liquidity is positive, but the negative is that MooMoo sell NAV is T-1, and not T. So lets say you sell Moomoo cash plus on Monday in the night, you will get previous Friday's NAV.

But if you sell the same fund with FSM or Endowus on Monday night, you will get Tuesday's NAV.

So Moomoo advantage is immediate liquidity but loss of money especially if you sell on Monday, you lose 3 days worth gains.

Now Mari Invest is a good competitor and they before 0730 sell same day get monies if more than 10k. Less than that is close to immediate withdrawal.

There is a 09:00 cutoff time for Fullerton SGD Liquidity Fund:

Is this from personal experience? Have you bought and redeemed Fullerton SGD Liquidity Fund before?

I have bought and redeemed the older Fullerton SGD fund, I sold on Tuesday morning after CNY and lost interest for 3 days.
