Simply put,

If you have existing 80k+ from first tranche of 5.8% which just ended and not withdrawn..

You decide to add-on $150k fresh funds (to meet highest tier)

Both subscribed to Fund A

Only the 200k gets 6.8%

Remaining 30k+ surplus gets only the MMF basic returns
I post before already. So now to play safe is try not to keep too much existing monies since if this same promo happen in future. Holding max for each tier is the killer.

The withdrawn I will put to Mari Invest which is now quite competitive.

Different funds better becuz the existing monies in same fund count once not for two promo. There are Fullerton Cash Fund and Fullerton Liquidity Fund to play with but I find Liquidity returns much lower.
doesnt matter mah. guaranteed 5.8/6.8%
to play both account means need 2 x 50k to maximise the scheme...

Why 2X50k?
I was participating in the previous cash plus promo with about 70k in it.

I just opened a new MooMoo account in wife's name and I will move the entire 70k to her account and then enjoy the new promo.

Take note of the holding max concept. If the same kind of promo should repeat again it has an impact on your total monies extra returns you can earn on your newly added fund.

Hi all,
I had completed the 1st tranche by purchasing Fullerton SGD Fund, and the money is still there with Moo Moo. For the 2nd tranche (6.8% promo) , I will top up $10k. the question is , must I buy the same fund (SGD Fullerton Fund) in order to get 6.8% for existing investment? Or can I buy different fund (USD money market) under Moo Moo cash fund and still enjoy 6.8% for the existing investment?

Can you just top up 10k and the withdraw that 10k or must maintain net 10k top-up for 1 month?

The example show to get the extra returns throughout the tenure period 20,40,60 days total nett amount must be above your existing fund monies + fresh 10k for your case when you first register deposit and subscribe. It is same like their previous similar promo

I just finished the 5.8% promo. I have not tapped on the start button yet for 6.8% promo.

I understand i can withdraw all the fullerton sgd fund, tap on the start button. All the deposit money should be considered counting towards the 6.8% promo duration, right?

I don't think so. The incremental amount is based on the start of the promo which is already started.

This is what I read in T&C FAQ item 2. How do you understand it?

2. I have deposited fresh funds before signing up on this page, what do I do?

Simply withdraw the additional amount that was topped up previously, complete the registration on the landing page then re-deposit again to fulfil the fresh funds requirement. Unfortunately, fresh funds topped up prior to registering will not be counted. For more information, check out the guide above on how we calculate fresh funds.

The keyword is fresh funds. I interpret like below
1. Existing monies before promo campaign start date
2. Promo campaign start date. Anything deposit after this is considered as fresh funds for the promo
FAQ is referring to point 2 where you did not tap register deposit etc flow. For those fresh funds you can withdraw first and then you tap register etc. If you withdraw those existing monies in point 1 and then re-deposit not considered fresh funds as before promo campaign start your existing monies is "locked" for calculation

1. 50k existing monies
2. 10k fresh funds added. This amount can withdraw then register etc. But if you withdraw the point 1 50k then cannot qualify for promo

I believe this was introduced as the previous 6.8% promo ppl use this. So those thinking to repeat same pattern are welcome to try and post here if it still works.

I wonder what is the cutoff time for redemption of cash plus.

I found it a bit weird, last time I redeemed some funds on Sunday night and it showed me the redemption date as same date. But Saturday and Sunday there is no NAV, which means I lost the returns for 2 days.

I think this is the trade off of money being made available to you immediately. But you must redeem only on a working day.

This is why I am waiting for tomorrow to redeem my funds and move to wife account. If I redeem today, it will be 3 days loss. But I want to be sure, so for tomorrow what is the cutoff time to register tomorrow's NAV for the sale? Maybe better to redeem day after tomorrow? What if MooMoo just uses last Friday's NAV even for tomorrow's sale, since tomorrow's NAV will be declared only day after tomorrow?

Cash Plus underlying is a mutual fund so it work like what you say only weekday has trading same as stock. If you have Mari Invest it work the same way I test before. So for such investment I usually do on weekday.

As for weekday what timing is cutoff varies among them. My rule of thumb is do it before 9am but for Mari Invest it mention in app before 7.30am

Thanks, I just had a look at the daily revenue payout and it seems, Tuesday(or Wednesday if Monday is public holiday) is when the big payout happens for the weekend combined. Also the payout timing is 10:30. So maybe best to sell will be on Wednesday(Since today is public holiday) around 11AM?

I am thinking Monday is the NAV and transacted date. Then Tuesday you see the revenue which is calculated based on Monday NAV. It is always a delayed price action for mutual fund for which Cash Plus is itself.

If you sell on Wednesday say before 11am you are selling based on Wednesday NAV. But the actual revenue is shown say on Thursday onwards.
