Sidenote.....the colored end of the cable will connect on the positive pin....what happened if plug wrong n polarity reverse?

Doesn't matter at all for Power_On and Reset switches, both are interchangeable and not polarity sensitive, either way it will still works flawlessly. The only front connector need to connect the polarity correctly is the Speaker, worn polarity will result in no sound but will never fry the speaker, just turn it the other way round if no sound.

But USB ports must not connect wrongly, wrong connection could fry the USB circuitry depends on how wrong you are.

Hi there, I'm going to collect my motherboard in an hours time, can advise what to stress test the motherboard on the spot to prevent any issue when bringing back home? I don't want same case again and wait for another 6 weeks..

Guys, I’ve collected my mobo, I need help.. at manufacturer the staff test the mobo got display for onboard and gpu. but at home no display for onboard and got display got gpu? It’s like 3rd time I seeing no display for my onboard..

If you installed discreet graphic card, the onboard graphic will auto disabled unless you enable dual display option in the BIOS.

If you want to test the onboard, remove the discreet graphic card.
