Used the phone external screen as a cycling computer with Strava yesterday. I think it can replace my Garmin already. Uses about 10% battery per hour.

Can try the wallet app too, I scan my office tower turnstile pass to it so I don't have to bring it out anymore, the only downside is it has to be the default wallet so if you want to use Google wallet for payment, have to change the default wallet to Google.

For my trip and flight I am not able to use it, not sure if it because of a CN set? I'm going to flash it to UK rom, fingers crossed it won't brick

Yup can. It can run almost any app you want on the external display. Even games.

After using it for a week, I found that although we can use almost any apps on the external screen, the keyboard typing experience is not ideal because it occupies the whole screen and I can't see my message until I minimize it, so yeah good and bad

Yes, you have to sign in to the Lenovo ID which unfortunately, even after I've signed in using my email address, it still as for a +86 phone number only for the OTP, I asked my friend in China to send me the OTP code. I tried all sorts of way to bypass it and even tried a temp china number to receive an OTP but without succeed. Tried to download the wallet apk to use in my other phones but can't login, I think it requires certain Motorola components to work. Hope this helps.

Ya some apps allow direct send while some need to minimize then can tap the send button.

Managed to load the EU ROM, feel home immediately as it's very stockish, I am using Pixel devices all the time so feel pekchek to use CN ROM and almost sell it off, luckily EU ROM works flawlessly, testing the Fitbit app now.

Hey bro, EU ROM got Google built-in by default, Safety net I don't think so as I have difficulty getting Singpass to work (another threads). I follow this only bro.
1. Download the RETEU firmware from Lolinet - https://mirrors.lolinet.com/firmware/motorola/zeekr/official/
2. Steps to flash can follow this - https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/closed-convert-your-moto-x30-pro-cn-to-edge-30-ultra-eu.4491699/

Basically:
1. unlock bootloader - developer options - enable allow oem unlocking and usb debugging
2. download platform tools for adb, fastboot, etc
3. install motorola usb driver, not sure if this is necessary - https://en-us.support.motorola.com/app/usb-drivers
4. get unlock code from motorola - https://en-us.support.motorola.com/app/standalone/bootloader/unlock-your-device-b
5. root using magisk by patching boot.img
6. backup cid, persist, utags, hw partitions
7. follow the above xda thread steps 2 - 4

remember don't relock the bootloader, it will brick your device.

and you are done, after that, root again using magisk and install all the hide root modules loh, my singpass still can't go beyond face verification leh, cham ah haha.

nice thing about eu rom is i can download the wallet apk from motorola and use it without issue, only need to sign in using email, no otp verification using china mobile phone hopefully can't resolve the singpass issue sooner.

Yea im aware cant relock bootloader, else will brick. Same as xiaomi/poco.

No problem at all. I still don't know how to flash back to original CN rom for resell / warranty purposes haha so if you or your boss plan to resell it again, better find out first how to revert to CN rom
