like previously. the eepc900.. When pple from neighbouring countries were getting 5800mAh batteries. we were only getting the 4400mAh batteries..

but at least Asus did the right thing switching to the 5800mAh battery.:s22:

lol. i dun mind get a eeepc900 then zhng a powderful batt onto it... haha :s22:

makes me kinda glad I didn't wait for either the 2133-mini or the Wind.

A least i got some productive work done on the 900L.

I played with the 2133 for about 5 mins and gave up - takes too much volume and the keys were too longish for me, had a high rate of errors hitting the side of keys, instead of squarely at them.

Thought the Wind might be better.

My sentiments exactly , his sarcasm or humorous level seems went overboard . Subsequently , he neglect our guys' comments , and this :D really made me speechless :(

It's confirmed, but stocks for the 5800mAh battery aren't in yet. You might also want to give Asus a call:

"...ASUS is offering a replacement program for an improved higher capacity 5800mAH battery for longer battery life. Eligible users can contact ASUS (Sonia Siow) at 6622 8883 SINGAPORE ONLY during working hours to register for the replacement program. For other regions, please check with your respective local distributors. "

From HWZ itself (at the footnote): http://www.hardwarezone.com.sg/articles/view.php?id=2543&cid=14&pg=5

hah! silly me, how did I miss the name and number? the service line was only answered by a ghost-machine.

Not sure whether it still works or whether the person has collapsed from the number of angry consumers calling :).
