People who haven’t touch film won’t understand oneAll these simulations will never replicated film cos they are applied as a whole. They look like they have some weird colour cast across the whole photo and only works in certain lighting conditions only. For film, every grain particle responds differently dynamically.
What’s your lens optionsnice hoot TS. I was also thinking about to get a fujifilm to try their simulation. But decided will buy xt5 instead for the interchangeable lens
i'm going 16-55mm first to try. likely end of day will go with a fast lens for portraits and a wide lens for landscape photosWhat’s your lens options
Nowadays don't really use bulky camera to take photos. Especially travel overseas. All the camera like Nikon FM2 , Nikon D3s, Sony Nex 5 all in the dry cabinet in storeroom. Why in storeroom? Cos heavy ?
To be honest I jumped both feet first when digital cameras became cheap, couldn’t wait to be rid of filmPeople who haven’t touch film won’t understand one
like me …
I’m not sure until I get one to try out and playYes if you want to leave post processing to the camera without tinkering in Lightroom, Fuji system is good with all their film IPs
Welcome to the Sony family.. I also made my choice ever since a6000 was released, no turning back to CanonI’m not sure until I get one to try out and play
I’ve seen some of them which range from pretty nice to freaking ugly, as the range is wide and still subject able to tweaks.
it is pretty known that Fuji is inferior to Sony in terms of autofocus. Some say if for taking photos alone, Fuji autofocus is enough, only for videoing then Sony is much better, but I dunno about it cos autofocus is important for me
so I think in the end I will get Sony as main, and try out second hand Fuji.
I need to research into body harness and quick release as I dun think sling bag is good for weight distributionNowadays don't really use bulky camera to take photos. Especially travel overseas. All the camera like Nikon FM2 , Nikon D3s, Sony Nex 5 all in the dry cabinet in storeroom.

Funny thing is these 'film look' and characteristics are considered flaws in the past and I believe I recall people actually want better/truer color rendition. Now it became a sought after feel/ filter.I get that. I’m also old timer photographer since Nikon fm days. However I do have to say that whatever preference I have for provia film look is down to nostalgia because I used to shoot with that film. Young kids whose introduction to photography was with a digital camera probably will not value that much. So I wonder if this of market will be here to stay or just die a natural death with old timers like me moving on.

now all the si ginnas want to waste money on film dunno why also
But where u going to wash your films?
