apart from peanut butter, i just realized their 5kg whey protein also increased in price - it is now S$233 instead of the previous S$190-ish (iirc).

and they have removed their Carb Crusher? damn that was my favorite protein snack man... the sea salt and dark choc flavor.
Yes fifty dollars increase, previously it was $178.99.

guys, check out the international website. even when shipping is included, the cost will still be cheaper.

are you talking about impact whey isolate 5kg?

I just check the international website, it cost £63 (after applying 30% coupon) + £9 shipping. after conversion, it's around SG$130+.

the international site has more variety and flavours as well.

your snack bar is still available on the international website.

Even with 9.9 sales promo code of 55%, the 5kg whey still cost $100ish. A gross increment of $30 from previous prices during promo days. Any alternatives to whey protein brand in Singapore?

yup, checked my previous order record, ordered 3 packets 2.5kg whey 1 year ago today (9.9.19), each packet after discount is $43.50.

today(9.9.20) order, each packet after discount costs $10+ more, $53.54.:(

This time the markups are too much - 20-30%? Should just boycott for the time being and look for alternatives until the prices come down. I'm guessing it should be due to delivery costs during the pandemic.

how do you guys mix the crunchy peanut butter thoroughly?

mine came with the oil on top of the somewhat hardened peanut butter (guess that's normal) but it was really hard to mix them.

Previously I place it upside down & when the oil floats up, can start stirring.
Now the trick I use is to place it upside down for a few hours then back to right side up. I repeat this over a course of a few days & found it even easier to stir.
Of course this is provided you don't need to consume it soon.

Just tried this for this first time. Compare to my usual double chocolate from ON, chocolate smooth from myprotein like those milkshake and bit too sweet.

It isn't accurate, for example using the same scoop which came in the package

1 level scoop of WPI natural choc is 32grams,
1 level scoop of THEWHEY chocolate caramel is 34grams
1 level scoop of Pea Protein Isolate Chocolate is 37grams

Best part is the serving and nutritional label only declare 25grams for unflavoured whey so if u take multiple scoops a day do take note.

Any other bars to recommend? I tried the protein brownie it's pretty good. I'll be ordering some other brands from amazon sg to try soon

So I just got my WPI natural banana flavor and jesus christ is this thing horrible.. tastes like milky chrysanthemum tea. I realise all their flavours with tumeric for coloring in it has that taste.. even that special edition gold caramel sample. Better stick to chocolate next time

On a side note, their clear whey isolate peach flavoured taste really good. I mixed it into ice water, and it tasted like the bottled drink pink dolphin.

That's good to know I might try that during the next 10/10 or black friday sale
