how many u wanna see ?
need the whole SG users to show u speedtest anot ?

No choice now.
I think u are right. Never change something that is working for u. International Speed test look like no improvement from 300Mbps plan. Some more the local ping is 4 Ms while ST is 1-4 Ms. 4 or 5Ms is maximum ping one should get for local.

This is real absurd!

We tried calling to check the status since they have not get back to us for a month after their "failed to turn up" appointment

Waited for more half hour on the line, not getting any response.

which version of computer networking are you referring to that said maximum local ping should be 4-5ms?

and what makes you think that going to 1gbps fiber line service equates to a higher international bandwidth?

Actually... comparing between the previous 100mbps and current 1gbps, there is a substantial difference...

dun ask for proof... go find yourself in this thread...

Agree that is substantial difference but based on so many speed test I have seen the ping is not that wonderful. Week day I use ST and weekend I use M1. I often do speed test on my 2 notebooks and seen so many speed test and most people is 1-4 ms and only 1 or 2 is 5ms. Honestly u need not believe me and i need not show proof but u should know it yourself. Hope you enjoy your 1Gbps plan.

I wouldn't take speedtest results as the absolute.
I have caught local ISP cheating on the results many times before.. the most ridiculous one was Singtel ADSL having a latency of 40ms+ to LA.

Nonetheless, if you chose to, continue taking the blue pill and believe all is fine with ST and all is wrong with MR.

Asking in a non offensive way. Why do you keep asking people to write to MDA/Ministers?

I dont see how that is more efficient than writing in to MR higher management to flag your case.

Writing to the minister is usually useless as their secretary would have filter out your email before the minister actually get to read it. The story would be different if you know the minister or know someone who is able to get the minister to look at your case.

Installer came in time. Everything was done in less than 15 minutes and my internet was up and running. Changed the location of the ont to my room with my old 30m cable and no issues. I connected my apple extreme thing(just cannot remember its name) and I could get the same speed on my imac(kid's comp) and me macmini connected to my home theater system. Time to scale down my current singtel(have to keep cos attached to my mioTV and mobile).
No problems so far!

True.
Anyway, just searched through henry's post. Quite obvious he is affiliated to the big red. Kind of explain his attitude here.

For starters, do you have any idea how to contact MR higher management? I don't think their emails or contact number are publicly available.

so if ur wife is making decision making for u , why u keep on asking ppl for speedtest ?
first it was singtel, den m1, now what ? mr ?
might as well ask every isp to email u the subscribers details so u can ask for speedtest, den u ownself do a excel chart then slowly compare.
theres already the samknows thingy to see the results, but u just chose to post all these things .
i feel for u really, decisions must ask wife to make.

I suspect he's just collecting some data or a new marketing direction to tackle. Look at his post on big red thread, can see his sales pitches and commitment to them.

Hmm you're right. The data is not shared. I withdraw my statement then.:s13:

I used to have some numbers/emails contacts, but that was way in the past when they first started out and provide an exceptional after sales support.
