I'm not sure if OpenNet is really on purpose screwing up, it seem rather improbable since they have had many years to resolve the issues that were common at the very beginning.
On the other hand, with so many reports of MyRepublic miscommunication, we should ask what if it is simply another case of MyRepublic miscommunication? What if MyRepublic is relaying to customers incorrect information from OpenNet? Or leaving out important details that can let customer decide and choose?
If we have the time to read the ICO Agreement -
ICO Agreement | OpenNet. We'll see that this ICO contract control every party (ISP & OpenNet) as to what they can and cannot do.
The contract also have very specific timeframe for every tasks and requires OpenNet to update the ISP what is the status at every stage. If there are problems OpenNet can't just keep quiet, they have to tell the ISP what is the problem, a timeframe to resolve and with an option to cancel plus compensation.
With such a clear detailed contract, it is quite doubtful OpenNet is that irresponsible as some here seem to be assuming.
Based on the above, I suspect it is more likely the ISP is not conveying the true and correct picture to us, making OpenNet a convenient scapegoat.
