Not really la, now 6 mths waive for existing user and still can request for extra 2 mths. May be better offer pop up during PC Show. May be 300Mbps also get it. Only big isp can offer good deal.

Yes....MR is Mega Republic..big ISP now.. way to go!!

For myrepublic gamer plan , which is the modem router recommended? There are 3 choices . The most expensive one is the best? Hope not

One thing the game plan provides is the Custom Routing which I think gamers will be thankful for.

I would like to see the benchmarks, but I don't think the ISPs can show or will want to show it.

Depends on your usage.

If you want to have a longer WiFi range, get the AC routers (provided your devices can support 802.11ac).

If you are only connected through wired connection, ASUS N56U router is good enough.

Fast but looking at the report the international speed and ping is same as ST 500Mbps. Never win ST at all. Gamer some more and the minimum international speed is so low as shown in report.

You got see the advert where they say ST speed wins MR? And do you even understand how international speeds work?:s22:

Dont even know the "Report" is from where one.

Depends on usage as xRenol has mentioned. If you use wifi more than wired connection, then get AC68

Bro, let's put it this way..

I am a happy MR customer. I'm always watching Netflix and Youtube in 1080p (FYI, these sites will automatically adjust your video quality based on your connection speed to avoid buffering), browsing experience is very good, using VPN to HK for work and it is as good as LAN. Why should I care even if the speed result is 1mbps local ?

I am also a happy ST user, i am also enjoying the same thing. HK can be very fast but not new york and far cities. Hulu is directly from sg connect to USA so very fast.

Actually everyone is entitled to voice their opinions based on experiences as long as it abides laws and forum rules.

But this Henry Ng is annoying because he seems to see every opinion as a challenge against Singtel. Then he will somehow bring Singtel into the picture and declare it as being better. When questioned upon, he will simply disappear and goes to disturb another thread.

Its like you are talking to your friends and suddenly an uninvited guy just barge in and start to advertise his one sided views.

To be its utterly disrespectful

1. I said Netflix and it is streaming from farthest place in your terms
2. I can't move my office servers to NY and do a test for you.
3. Most of the people in this thread are technically sound and they know what they want from their fibre.
4. If you are a happy ST user, please do all of us a favor, go to ST thread and share your views rather annoying everyone here. It's really getting bad recently.

Sounds as if ST decided to form a cyber squad of their own. Hahahaha...
