Enlighten me ?

New customer will be in Q1, together with our first batch of customer 2 years ago.

Too many replies here and there. Hence, please answer my post.

My contract ends in July 2014, if I upgrade to your 300Mbps plan, do I have to pay OCT :

1) If my installation date is before my contract ends?

2) If my installation date is after my contract ends?

3) If the installation is say, Q1 2015 (some say 300Mbps start then), what will I be paying after my contract ends and until Q1 2015?

4) Is it possible, using my current ONT, upgrade to 300Mbps?

5) I understand that I can keep my static IP, is that correct?

6) Why should I sign up now for your 300Mbps plan if it only starts next year?

Thank you.

1) If my installation date is before my contract ends?

If it's an upgrade. Meaning contract has not expired. OTC chargeable. However, if contract is expiring or has expired. It's waived.

2) If my installation date is after my contract ends?

3) If the installation is say, Q1 2015 (some say 300Mbps start then), what will I be paying after my contract ends and until Q1 2015?

300/1000mbps starts from March 2014.

4) Is it possible, using my current ONT, upgrade to 300Mbps?\

Nope 300/1000mbps are our new plan and require new ONT.

5) I understand that I can keep my static IP, is that correct?

Yes, portable.

6) Why should I sign up now for your 300Mbps plan if it only starts next year?

300/1000mbps starts from March 2014 and slowly roll out to every customer.

When can I recontract so that I can jump onto 300Mbps immediately after my current contract ends?

If contract end le, there is no OTC. Believe it was answered in 1.

it's not about otc or not.. if the contract end b4 installation. Will i be without connection? cos my contracts end feb 18 and the installation only available from 1st march.

i hope MR can work something out for me.

2) when should i terminate my Starhub contract if i sign up MR 1Gbps plan? can I choose the installation date?

3) why must i key in my credit card details when sign up?

Technically, your plan will continue at the usual price.. ie $59 for pure, etc... Can voice out to them to charge you at the price you paid till the installation comes in.

Signed up for the upgrade offer. However, I did not include the router option. Is it possible for me to include 1 of the router when the order team call me in few months time? Q2 2014 onwards.
