Hmm, I signed up online during the IT fair period and received SMS in few days saying I will be contacted by end March for installation arrangement.

I have received a call from MR today and have arranged for OpenNet on 7 Apr and MR on 9 Apr. I have tried to say if MR can just do a fibre takeover on my port 1 (currently with M1) so there's no need for OpenNet to come on 7 Apr and save me some time.
However the customer service didn't seems to understand and I was trying to park so I didn't quite manage to discuss further with him.

Can someone from MR here advise? Which is a better option? I have heard of issues such as New SP not able to take over fibre successfully or Port 2 signal too weak and takeover of Port 1 is still a safer option.

Everyday we will submit the orders to OpenNet. However, opennet may reject some as they are not ready for that areas due to certain reason such as splitter not enough or fiber top up.

Could you leave me an email with your customer ID, address and contact number. Will call you personally tomorrow to check on this.

I can request for a FTO instead. However, the M1 contract has to be up and all outstanding balance has to be cleared. Also, we won't be responsible for any termination cost incurred for terminating of port 1 services charged by M1 if any.

Finally received the beta appointment call about an hour ago. Was scheduled on 3 April morning time slot. The CSO explain to me that my internet will be down for the day & both MR and Opennet rep will be 'working hand in hand' during that period. Also opted for the Asus ac68u(last min added) and was informed it will be bought over by MR rep during the scheduled date. Hopefully i won't receive any calls or sms for rescheduling due to Opennet.

Just to check, will we still be receiving email to confirm the appointment date even after receiving the call from MR?

Hi, I currently have a 24 months $58 PURE contract with MyRepublic which I signed up during COMEX last year. I'm currently on contract until 21-09-2015.

May I know if I'd like to upgrade to the ULTRA 1Gbps plan, will I still be on contract until the same date? Or will my contract date be extended?

They just lost me as a customer... Just got off the phone with their customer service. When signed it was on the agreement that it will be up by 23rd of March as I'm flying off that day. That was last month. They promised to call me the following Monday to book an installation date but 3 weeks passed and not a word. Yesterday I called them and had to kick a fuss, which I hate doing just to get a date, they promised to call back later in the day but never did. Just got off the phone after asking a simple question; will the service be up on 23rd and she said no... That was it.

If they can't be trusted to make timely calls, keep a schedule etc. there's no way I'm going to be able to trust them with something like running an ISP. If they are still in business in a few years time I'll probably give it another shot with them but as of now, I just don't think they are ready to provide good service to paying customers. Recontracting with M1

hmm.. when they just started and i signed with them, service damn power.

seems like now going the way of stinktel, suckhub CS quality, and worse still attitude?

It seems like MR service level is not sustainable with the growing number of customers.

When they start to lose customers, it will be too late to salvage.

I just give myself another 2 years to see how things are going. If it is getting worse, then I will go to the "BLACK" side.
