I have 2 wireless devices, 1 laptop and 1 wired desktop.

Typical wireless download speed over 5.0GHz band for ASUS RT-AC68U 60Mbps-200Mbps.

Can only achieve 200Mbps out of 1Gbps. Still consider whether to upgrade or wait for other promotions.

If you are paying almost the same amount , IMHO you can consider to upgrade for the wired device.

7 more weeks contract before my Starhub MaxOnline Premium 50Mbps ends. It cost $56.92 per month.

If I terminate now, need to pay around $113.84. So I send the termination bill can claim?

Even my hp 4G network speed is faster than my current home broadband sometimes.

Bro,
please do not cancel now as the installation for 1Gps will only start in Early March 2014 hence if you work out the timing, it will be just nice.

If you need more help, do let me know.

Weird, asus website say ac68u can hit 450mbps on 2.4ghz and 1.3gbps on 5ghz, where's those numbers from?

NT-N66U can support anot ? i just bought it during the sign up.

First off, wired wise RT-N56U and 66U onwards should not have any problems - the hardware accel in these routers are actually quite beastly :3 . Wireless wise, yes it will work, though you might not get full speed given RT-N66U is a N900 router (rated for 450+450Mbps speed, maximum you'd get is up to 450Mbps only).

Hey Bolts...so what is the international speed for 1Gbps?:s22:

Already replied in the other thread, but lemme just do a paste here :)

It'll be the same as it ever was - as good as it ever is :D . You actually notice that once your speed gradually increases, you'll notice several factors that actually affect the overall speed that you receive. For instance, you'd have to take into account the hosting server's hard disk I/O, the hosting server's bandwidth utilization, possible congestion along different routes, just to name a few. These are all factors that can affect the overall speed that you receive, even already visible on 100Mbps plans, even. While we can't do anything about the bottleneck at the download server's end, we will always try to optimize routing that we notice along our paths - do feel free to drop us any PM about any sites or downloads you feel are not up to par with your expectations to look into, and we'll advise you accordingly :)

Hi CyberMew,

Yes, that's correct. It comes with a few VAS, including Caller ID, Call Waiting, Call Forwarding and Voicemail to Email services.

Currently number porting is not supported yet.

There's a $49 one-time charge.

Hi,

I am an existing subscriber and I have opted to upgrade to the Ultra plan with the N56U router and was given a waiver for the OTC. However, I decided to change the router to AC68U and was shocked to see that I am now being charged $58 for the OTC. Kindly please advise me. I have both order confirmation emails as proof.

Hi, no worries about the router - you can talk to our order team later about it when they call you up to book installation. Furthermore, could you kindly advise when your contract expiry date is? If it's expiring / already expired, there should not be a $58 OTC. If anything, feel free to PM either nivlek1985, Lawzer or myself with your customer ID and we'll look into things for you.
