Yes, it directly offset on the router purchase.

Bro, is the purchasing of router at discounted price for existing customer still on? From myrepublic website, it only show standard retail price with no indication of discounted price for existing customer. I'm looking at asus ac68 which retails at $359. What is the special price for MR customer?

Till now still have not receive any calls for beta installation..

Yup, it is still on, for existing customer upgrading. when u upgrade it will show the discounted price (After $100 router voucher).

If you are not upgrading then it the normal price.

The discounted price come is after the router voucher offset.
Signing up 1Gbps got $100 dollar voucher if you are not aware.
You are not short-changed in anyway, so dun worry.

I have been a long time StarHub customer ever since they first started cable broadband internet. Currently, my contract is ending in June 17th. My existing StarHub cable broadband internet plan is running at speed of 50Mbps at monthly bill of $56. StarHub cable broadband services had been normal. Nothing fantastic but their customer service really sucks ! Long waiting time on phone helpdesk and no difference in pricing when sign up for corporate rates.

Next, my brother is using Stinktel all in one Mio services that comes with 100Mbps fibre broadband internet. The Stinktel fibre broadband service are totally bad. Speed are intermittent throughout the day. Sometimes, it is even slower than my StarHub cable broadband speed. Lousy services out to shortchange consumer. Not forgetting their greedy CEO trying to monetize their business with such rotten services.

Lastly, I decided to fired StarHub cable broadband and signed up with My Republic 1Gbps Ultra fibre broadband internet at $49.99 monthly. Installation fee of $58 is a bit high. But one service I like is that consumers are allowed to choose their own wireless gateway router according to their own budget. Starhub and Stinktel always bundle in lousy wireless gateway which perform badly. Anyway, I decided to purchase the Asus RT-AC68U wireless router which normally retail at $358. My Republic is giving $100 discount off for the router. This turns out the Asus RT-AC68U router to be $258. A very good deal indeed. Today, My Republic SMS me saying they will call me up to schedule appointment for installation in April due to high amount of customers took up the 1Gbps plan. I hope My Republic live up to their standard for the 1Gbps speed and provide good after sales services. Else you know after two years contract consumer will decide whether to stay on or not. Lastly, I don't need the home voice service as my mobile phone serves the purpose. In addition, I don't need the teleport service because I don't subscribe to online tv.

I've got a call saying someone will call to make an appointment early next week. One week later, I've not received any calls.
