so existing customers already with MR who signed to upgrade to 1gbps plan how?

feels like we're getting the "it's ok they're contracted screw them all let's get the new ones in first then settle theirs".

do you guys get imposed a penalty to upgrade to 1gbps plan?

on a few threads in HWZ and on MR's webpage... it already said very clearly...

maybe you should go read up...

Does anyone knows whether we can cancel MyRepublic order? I ordered in January, they said they coming on 4th April and 5th April. So I took leave. Then they send SMS said opennet issue, so postponed. Until today, no response from MyRepublic at all. I tried calling in vain, left messages in Live Chat (Live Chat is always off!) and now my ViewQwest subscription I have cancelled and early next week I do not have Internet at home!

This is such a disaster. How to cancel and not to pay that stupid $297 penalty when service is not even rendered.

Until now I still have no installation date. No one calls me back to re-arrange a new date. When they confirmed that my installation date is on 4/5 April, I then cancel my subscription with ViewQwest. Now I will have no Internet at home.

How to get them to tell me when is the new installation date then? Even Live Chat is offline all the time. :s11:

If there are payments you don't agree on, you can signed up as a CASE member and ask CASE to negotiate for you.

Any MyRepublic engineers can help? I can't access Hulu Plus on my Apple TV. It keeps saying Hulu Plus is unavailable now. Please try again later. Before I upgrade, I was able to access it. Is there a problem with Teleport?

Same for me since day one :(

Already aware of the issue of Hulu+ on Apple TV and are looking into it.

As of yesterday night, Hulu Plus is still not working on my ATV leh... :s22:

Go and get some prepaid mobile broadband plan. even though u sign with other ISP u will need to wait..:(:(

Share with you guys my experience.

1. M1 charged me 100mbps @ $95 without any promo price after 24mths contract. At first i dont mind cause i signed up with MR since end of Feb and arr of installation on beginning of April, i happily pay extra for March to M1.

Towards my nightmare, MR emailed me few days before the installation and claimed OpenNet issue, Call up CS, no dates was given, i'm asking since like that will MR adsorb my M1 Bill? as usual.. this is non of MR policies, hence i asked for cancellation, the CS die die want to charge me. Email to MR and state my unhappiness, a reply from MR will look into my case and i'm waiting for them to revert.

the main point is.. Please patiently wait for MR to revert cause.. IT"S REALLY OPENNET'S FAULT!! cause my m1 installation by OP also crop up.

i had to recontract with M1 cause of the bill they charged without promotion price...

Just hope that MR can be more flexible when deal with this, your buy back contract can offer up to $200 and why don't you guys adsorb the extra charges charged by the other ISP and you will secured a customer for 24 months?

I will go and get prepaid mobile broadband for now. But this is really infuriating.

MR had sent out email & SMS to infm about the delay due to ON. as you can see from Solomon's post, they had trying their best to increase man power and also an update on whats going on.

every 1 got 1st time, but they must always learn from lesson / experience to avoid such incident and be more proactive and more lenient to deal with customer. :s12:

From what I observe, you are saving cost on your PR and all I see is existing Cust helping out new Cust to do some basic troubleshooting.

Only prompt reply is pertaining to new sign up procedures where lots of partner tends to be super pro active on it..

Very very very bad compare to initial kick off service provided by Lawzer..

You guys should truly look into this since lots of new sign up cancelled and even your Pionner supporters of existing Cust are even jump ship back to big 3..

Please don't waste the impressive service level of what Lawzer built up. Either you increase your CS standard and not employing temp staff who knows nothing but "get back to you" or you should change the stupid team manager who can't manage a proper team.

Choose wisely on maintain a good repo or lose it for good.

I second this. I have been trying to call in for the past 2 days to do a recontract. I first signed up because of lawzer prompt service here but am having 2nd tots after reading some of the many complaints here in the forum.

i am thinking of signing up myrepublic 1gbps. i read up the HWZ has bad reviews about the installation and some good reviews about my republic. i am abit lost right now. so is myrepublic good or bad ? :s11:

are u on MR ? whats ur review ?

me? i'm still on the old 100mbps plan.
little problems for me.
1yr plus so far, 2 downtimes encountered.

first one fix in 2-3hrs
second one fix within 5mins

had some payment problems in the beginning, that was fixed after 3 tries
performance wise, similar to my parent's singtel 200mbps, but never really use the singtel extensively

im getting like 1+ Mbps for like Game of thrones S04E02. Normal?
