I get your frustration, but to blame MR for Open net issue is akin to saying Apple's iPhone for M1/Starhub/singtel line for being down.

As a service provider, you cannot just brush off your customer in that fashion. No reassurance and zero responsibility. As I have said, no one has said that they would check and get back to me. The "not sure" answer was the worst amongst all, when is going to be then? 1 month?

I just called OpenNet this morning and was informed that My Republic hasn't raised the issue aka trouble ticket with them. So who to blame now?

MY HOMEVOICE IS STILL NOT WORKING SINCE INSTALLATION ON 14/07/14(Customer ID C1000832). Called in so many times, feedback through facebook&hardwarezone and no one from myrepublic is taking care of my case now. This is the kind of poor customer service i get, or u all just cannot figure out why my homevoice is not working. Looks like whenever u all cant fix the problem, u all just leave it hanging. Worst thing is, i saw my tax invoice of 49 dollars homevoice INSTALLATION&ACTIVATION CHARGE already issued. In what way is my homevoice installed/activated? 28 July is my next pay cycle, dont force me to inform the bank to stop paying. Paying for the service that is not even activated/usable is NOT going to happen.

I just called OpenNet this morning and was informed that My Republic hasn't raised the issue aka trouble ticket with them. So who to blame now?

Update:

After calling OpenNet in the morning yesterday, I called My Republic and they said that they are handling the issue. Subsequently in the noon at about 1pm, I called OpenNet again and asked them about the issue. It was the same, My Republic hasn't lodged the trouble ticket with them. I called My Republic again and tell them quickly to do so. In the evening, I called OpenNet again and they confirmed that My Republic has finally lodged the trouble ticket at 2pm plus.

Today in the afternoon at about 3pm, I called OpenNet and they told me that they have cleared the issue and if my internet is still not working, I have to ask My Republic to lodge another trouble ticket for an appointment to check my TP. My internet was still not working and I called My Republic to get them to lodge the trouble ticket. I was advised that the specialist is unable to take my case today or tomorrow and could only attend to my case on Friday. I asked whether any other persons could handle my case and he said that only that specialist knows and could handle my case. By the time it's Friday, it means that I will have no internet services for another 2 weeks? I requested for a cancellation immediately.

How difficult can lodging a trouble ticket be? From what I have read, a lot of people are having the same problems with My Republic which means it is a common issue and it was suggested another "specialist" could not be assigned to do the job.

If anyone of you is still waiting for their call for the purported installation, I suggest that you cancelled it. This ISP is a waste of time.

new customers will get connected first. Existing customers need to wait till contract finishes. Don't what kind of service this is.

Regards this, IMHO should adopt 3 big's practice such as .....eligible for re-contract once passing 21 months (3mths earlier) in the 2yrs contract :s12:.

Some existing customers choose to install after their contracts end to enjoy their remaining free 2/3 months and avoid paying the OTC.

Why can't they just free the 2/3mths at the being or stagger within the contract period :s8:?

I wish you heeded the warning and stay off since the start, assistance so far has been down the hill. You still do get help occasionally but other than that, you're dealing with a sleeping giant, that wouldn't budge and you can't do **** to it.

I don't seen what is wrong with that. You have a contract to fulfil and what's wrong with waiting for that contract to end first? You can pay early termination fee though.

Why can't they just free the 2/3mths at the being or stagger within the contract period :s8:?

That was agreed upon when you first sign that contract.

How long was your long wait?15 mins or 1 hour?
You don't need to terminate now, just tell them you couldn't wait any longer whenever they call you up for an appointment.
Filing the complain can be done with CASE or small claim. You can google on that.

All what he said were only 1 side of the story, OpenNet side. OpenNet may not even have such ticket lodging system lolz. Who knows.

Problems with billing again, upgraded from HWZ for the first batch of 1gbps signups. After so many months, they decided to charge me 'service sign up activation fee' for june. Time to call and wait an hour before I scold a CSO and then "we will get someone to call you back" crap.
