Hi guys,
What is the easiest and most efficient way to transfer large files (>1gb size) between MR users? Assuming both are on the Pure Plan (no static IP).
Is FTP possible between two different MR users?
Would appreciate any advice on the above.

In theory FTP possible if both are static IP. Dynamic I not sure. But then I also duno MR got block FTP ports...
i using some of this programs, 千寻影视HD, Cloud vod, 乐视视频, Cloud tv, TV entertainment, TV episodes,风行影视 etc, on my android devices. running on MR network. it is very slow and buffering like no one business.... try on other ISPs... i considered them as great and not much of a issue. how about the bros here...
my cloud vod is working fine, with min buffering at the start.
cloud tv i believe is the server side if you are viewing the free channels.
Dear All,
Just a quick question.
I am getting MR Fiber broadband with Homevoice. For the new ONT installation, does RJ11 connect directly to ONT or RJ11 to connect to a Analog Telephone Adaptor, and ATA to router?
Thank you
hi, just to check with you... yours is static or dynamic plan? what dns you put?
they block no ports![]()
Can try Bittorrent Sync?Hi guys,

hmm. i dun see why it won't work.So even if both MR users are on Dynamic IP, FTP is possible?
Key steps I assume are:
- both MR users do not reset their routers (so as to retain current dynamic IP allocation)
- one party sets up a FTP server
- other party accesses the FTP servers and transfers the file via FTP
Workable?
Port forwarding needs to be configured properly for the side thats hosting the FTP else it wouldn't work as well.So even if both MR users are on Dynamic IP, FTP is possible?

oh, didn't know that a static host name is still not enuff.I doubt so because MR is on dynamic PRIVATE IP and not dynamic PUBLIC IP.
