Had no issues at the west area last night & this morning. I was up till 2.30am this morning. Mine is 100mbps plan.

I have to say though, I am surprise no rep provide any updates here or their Facebook considering they were pretty on previously & keep updates to their customers.

Do not know why like that. Haiz.
Geez, the way you write sounds just like someone else :s13:

I remember seeing them post status updates from their Facebook account, but I can't find them from their Facebook page.

But I see the updates at their twitter account too https://twitter.com/MyRepublic. Updates aside, it would be good if they can provide more details on why the network was down.

Unacceptable

I was completely cut off from the network at around 2am this morning.

Called their Hotline and got that ridiculous
"All our operators are engaged. GOODBYE!!!" message.

Your customer service is severely lacking, MR.

Well, this is my current style.

For the record, I am not a fan nor hater.

I am reasonable but I remain objective.

Re-posting what I posted in the other thread:

To upgrade/recontract for the 300Mbps plan for existing customers only:
Go to their website https://secure.myrepublic.com.sg/, click on Sign Up Now link, and select "Upgrade/Recontract Customer" to see the 300Mbps plan.

some impt questions.
1) got OTC of $78. recontract still charged OTC?
2) any change of equipment? got some say need to change ONT. that means got installer coming to my house?
3) when the service can change from pure 100 to pure 300? Q3 2014?
4) any downtime when switching from pure 100 to pure 300?

my email is auron_ky@yahoo.com if myrepublic rep want to contact me personally.

my problem is not total cut off... some sites just not responding...

like hwz, hwz images. The forums load, but without any images or css.

YouTube also. the base html is loading but all the media aren't loading.

So i suspect is some router to the CDNs is not working.

Did you try resetting your browser and clear all caches. If you use any extensible browsers disable those extensions first.

As for youtube, check if u are using HTML5. If you are using, there is a chance that some videos will fail to load. For best compatibility IMO is still best to use flash. You can use Magic Actions for Youtube to force every video to load in flash instead of HTML5

Had some problems around 7am today with my Static IP configuration. After some troubleshooting this afternoon (plugging computer directly into ONT), changed router back to DHCP for now.

Is anyone else is facing the same issue?

2) There will be a change of ONT if you are changing from PURE 100Mbps to 300Mbps or 1Gbps plan.

Same situation for me. Today my speed test with MyRepublic is like 9.5M upload and download.

Same here, an IP releases and renew did the trick.

Well just my input to help you solve it (it happened on me). $0 and just a few clicks away.

Another thing is did you update your router firmware to the latest one? Also did you try hard reset of the router?
