Off-hours maintenance by ISP isn't something new but I would prefer if someone over at MR can send out maintenance notice in advance especially when the scale of the change impacts a large number of users.

Unless I am doing some important work, If it happens on me at 2am....I would have just gone to sleep cos I am not gonna start tinkering my router and ONT in the middle of the night or call MR if they never inform us of maintenance.

On the other hand, if its informed maintenance then my only choice is but to sleep as well.

So either scenario for me is: Just go sleep. :s13:

An informed maintenance reduces the frustration of the end users and allow them to take a better action (ie reschedule work, sleep in peace etc..) than to call the ISP helpdesk which otherwise would be congested and be even more pissed not knowing what happened. Some of the folks thought its their equipment problem and when on to flash their router, troubleshoot their PC when it was purely ISP issue. All these could have been avoided.

come come.. all take poll..

see what the customer satisfactory levels are :s13::s13:

Straw Poll

I am definitely not pleased with the lack of
after sales service of MR.

The "Hotline" is unmanned. I have abandoned many calls
in frustration after being put on hold (and listening to
repetitive ads about how "awesome" MR's 1Gbps is)
for 30 minutes.

Ho Seh liao. IT show coming.

Those who have yet to receive their 1GB installation , or waiting for some sort of responds (like me) from their CSO can prepare to wait long long.

Hi Guys, same guy here who had problems with connection not up and running after setup ~2 weeks ago. It's now been a month and it's still not working. Every time i call they promise to call back, but nobody ever calls. Call again tell me to wait a week. 3 times so far.

My question now is, is it within my rights to tell them to cancel my subscription (i signed up for 2 years gamer plan) and just forget the whole thing since the service promised was NEVER delivered? If so, how do i go about doing it?

Did you send an email to MR?

Email, hotline, hwz, fb msg. All sent before. Just managed to get through the hotline, the same guy who promised to 'take care of this issue personally' a week ago now tells me i should be calling their engineering department directly, at a number i've found nowhere on their website. I ask if they're available now and he says yes certainly, so of course i call and nobody picks up -_-

Can someone help me check my connection to Diablo 3 servers? My internet for everything else works fine. And my friends on Starhub and Viewqwest works fine too. But I've been getting lagspikes the entire day.

What is the D3 server's IP address?
