can MR staff assist me? my friend also using MR also cant access ebay sites.

All? Mmm.. if you are getting the advertised speed with your router, try restoring your router config to factory settings. Cannot be so jialat one..

Well, you can try their live chat.. I don't bother with their CS unless it's really desperate

Will try the mango server speed test later.. the last time I tested it few days back it was still 8Mbps..

Ebay is currently down on other ISPs as well. We can only wait for Ebay themselves to resolve this issue.

On the other hand, I've been trying to load something for my mum to watch,
But unfortunately, it has been trying to buffer/lag spam playing for the past 45 minutes...

I keep getting Netflix is not supported in my country error. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. Grr this is hugely annoying.

Netflix itself is down..

not much idea of the rest.. would really appreciate if streaming to the great land of china can be more smooth... would try to spent hours trying to get a stream from china network but give up in the end knowing it is impossible to get a smooth HQ stream

good to know Twitch is working well for some users but personally, source is a pain to watch..

seriously, are they in violation of contract or something... what is the freaking use of 1gbps when you can't even stream twitch or make use of their so called "teleport"

there must be something we can do... i have never being so pissed with an ISP... till i got MYrep... please whoever considering getting mr... PLEASE RECONSIDER AND GET VQ...

There is something you can do. Terminate and switch to VQ lor. You won't be the first, neither will you be the last. But MR is here to stay for good.

anybody using OpenDNS here and getting blocked from facebook, gmail and various popular bukit timah sites? even HWZ was blocked until I changed to Google DNS and am now able to access all sites again.. seems like china suddenly bought over OpenDNS and started to block sites arbitrarily..

MR is inflexible in terms of customer service...

MyRepublic (MR) is also very inflexible in terms of customer service (CS)...

- I moved house on 23.Jul.2014.
- My contract has ended on 27.Jul.2014.
- I called to enquire about relocating my service to my new house on 25.Jul.2014, but was asked to pay relocation/administrative fee of $160.00. Alternatively, I was asked to terminate my service in writing when my contract ends on 27.Jul.2014 and sign as a new customer under my new address. I asked for a waiver since I'm alright to renew as a loyal customer with MR though at a different address, but was rejected flatly and was quoted that relocation/administrative fee of $160.00 has to be charged if so.

As such, I'll be scouting around for a better customer-oriented service provider. Or could Lawzer, Johnnny, nivleK1985 or Boltersdriveer do something to help?
