I'm on 300mbps line. it's not slow because the download never kick off at all. not even 1 kb. I also noticed it only blocks for Hong Kong drama. China ones works fine. but when I teather using my m1 line, I can start download instantly. both method at same time right after another.

Using MR, Just go YouKu load any current popular drama see if u can download.
If not, use your mobile data plan n tether to iPad. Try if can download now.

I have no idea as well. Although I am on 1Gbps but 300Mbps is more than enough for youku streaming. I saw no one else saying its slow either for quite some time already.

I suggest you do all u can at home first, like reboot ONT, reset router those stuff. Or maybe even test with another computer if possible.

If not have to call them up. Or wait for their current big maintenance window to end to see if it reverts good.

MR can stream HK drama like 使徒行者 with youku without any VPN on pc client? I cannot leh as it's geo-blocked.. unless you are using chrome or firefox with hola..

Hola (with or without premium) is very slow and not recommended. I use noadplayer. Can find it on chrome webstore or use greasemonkey if wanna use on firefox.

after you grabbed greasemonkey off firefox addons, restart browser so its installed properly.

Then head off to this URL: 下载 | NoAdPlayer

Click on the last one 用户脚本 v1.1

Greasemonkey will automatically detect and ask you if u wanna install the script, click ok and you are done.


For Chrome, you just head on to its webstore and install noadplayer thats all

Slow Download Speeds from Google Drive

Hi everyone,

I'm currently on the 1gbps plan.

Used to be able to download files from Google drive at speeds around 16-20 MB/s. Speeds have decreased significantly over the past week, currently getting around 3-4 MB/s.

Anyone experiencing the same issues? Given that there is a google data centre located in Singapore, no sure what is causing the slow speeds suddenly.

Actually I find that download from Steam and battle.net speed dropped as well especially at night. As well as my direct downloads from overseas.

It could be:
1. cos of the major maintenance they are doing now which will last way into october
2. AAG cable kena cut
3. M1 and Singtel now both having "1Gbps" plans resulting in much more traffic even for local servers

Since they havent been involving here and I saw nothing on their facebook I am gonna just sit this one out until october, at least until the AAG cable is fixed and/or they completed maintenance before I contact them to ask myself.
