To be fair before u guys jump into conclusion it could be Nucleus Connect.

because
-their maintenance always this hour
-I've seen MR suddenly notify us maintenance in a short notice
-AFAIK there was once they did maintenance and MR wasn't informed.

Good thing is if its maintenance its never beyond 1hour, always fixed in like max 30-45mins on my own experience.

MR is up for me now. And, it is fortunate that I could tether my phone to complete my work.

Shame on you MR!

Concept has changed with fibre.

MR is your RSP
Nucleus Connect is hence your OpCo.

BOTH can do maintenance. Add Opennet to the party, we consumers can be screwed three ways.

Just now ONT red then internet down. After the internet up, my router exploded, tripped the whole house's power. Lucky all my appliances connected to surge protector if not gg! My netgear R6300 exploded liao, no more router to use. Any router to recommend? Mainly 5Ghz Wi-Fi for mobile devices/macbook pro and fast throughput for LAN for gaming and downloading/bittorrent!

MR got special prices for Asus routers?

All you need is the NextIssue app (and a US card). You can get the Next Issue app on Android by: (1) activating a VPN into the US (2) creating a US-based GooglePlay account (3) and you'll need a US credit card. If you're using iOS, create a US iTunes account. (2) And you'll probably need a US card.

I'd set up an Asus Android tablet for my wife by following the steps above. And I've been a long-term NextIssue subscriber on iOS myself.

Teleport is not required and can't help with either of the steps above.

Can the MR team please consider opening teleport access to the following website:

Next Issue | Unlimited Access to 100+ Magazine Subscriptions Free Trial

It's a a magazine subscription service that lets you read dozens of magazines at one subscription price...very useful for those of us who dont want individual subscriptions.

Thanks

Thanks Varun

I got the iOS app and registered successfully from behind a VPN.

Assuming I can subscribe with a US card:

Is VPN required every time you launch the app to sign in and download a mag?
