MR, please rectify the over deduction from account via GIRO for bill month of Aug, Sept, Oct 2013.

1) Over-charging of Relocation of line
- $150 - 2 times / Deducted from GIRO on 9th Sept TOTAL $359.88
- Sept 2013 Bill
- Called into CSO and was promised a reversal of $150 via GIRO in Sept
- Till date no refund received

2) Deduction
a) 7th Oct Deduction $38.88 / but this bill dated 28th Sept is $199.38
b) 21st Nov deduction $199.38 / Bil dated 28 Oct $199.38

Actual S$266.64
OVERCHARGING S$331.50

Please revert what went wrong? Demand a immediate refund of overcharging within 3 days.

Told billing team to contact you =).

Change ISP or use VPN.

change ISP or VPN is the fastest and direct way out but also the one that will cost money.

Its the internet if you look hard enough there are always alternative sources. AFAIK unless u want a certain type of drama from a certain country which only youku/tudou has, PPStream or funshion can serve streaming needs. That said my bro does watch that type of drama and he is not using youku...so it just depends on where to look.

There is a special type of PPStream :D in which I am getting smooth lag free streaming on their highest quality stuff.

For rest of the stuff not origin from China, climbing bukit timah is the best way. Afterall MR is impressive in climbing that nowadays, even during peak hours. :s13:

Bottomline is: look for alternatives. Its the internet. :D

For twitchTV then its a big problem, cos I think its quite a niche thing for streaming of gameplays.

I am unable let people connect to my game server on port 27015. I have already setup port forwarding/firewall etc.

It used to work on my singnet, but now it have this problem with myrepublic?
I have the gamer plan and bought the static ip thingy...

Anyone know what am I missing?

you applied for static ip, but did u setup your static ip? :vijayadmin:

i am from the 1st batch MR subscriber paying $59 monthly for more than a year now. im a light user, hence can i request to downgrade to the PURE plan ($38.88/mth).

No wonder I can't access the internet. the last maintenance was notified by MR in advance but not this time.

it's sad...
