Hi,

i've been with MR for about 2 years + now and have always been satisfied with both their internet and customer service as compared to their competitors.

My brother recently signed up for the 1 GBPS plan and i was still under the old gamer plan which MR then billed us for both. Thankfully, this has only been going on for 1 month.

If i didn't call up MR, i would've never found out about this and would've been paying so much more for nothing. Two plans under one household, no idea why they didn't bother notifying us. I'm even more disappointed that they are unable to issue a refund to me.

I guess this is just my fault for being too busy to settle all these stuff. :(

If you have the habit of switching on the ONT and router at the same time, this happens once in a while.. rebooting the router will help

power off ONT, connect directly to ONT, power on and check

if you're getting full speed after connecting to ONT.// power off
your router, press reset button on router (this will reset router
to default), set up your router again and try speed test again

Guys, my Ethernet suddenly stopped working, and the error message I got is that I don't have a valid IP configuration. Would this be a problem on MR end? Or is there some other solution for it, thanks!

FYI, wifi is working normally, only ethernet seems to be down

Also, the current IP address is set as 169.254.77.117

I assumed you are not on Static IP.

Did you try with other Ethernet Port on your router?

reboot your router. seem like it a router issues.
the ip address is a junk ip address given when your device is unable to grab a dhcp address.

Are you already using fibre internet? If yes, gg. No matter what ISP u change to, you will get problems.

NLT only wires up 1st port of the TP. 2nd port is not connected. That's the cause of delays.

If you're a first time fibre user, good news. Can have internet up within 1 week. Fibre is always better than cable broadband.

I think MyRepublic got refer-a-friend promo, stacks with other promos.

IT show also coming.
