Download and install 百度影音游览器 (???????-??pps??????????????)

Then use ??????2013?????????????????????? - ?????

Works fine for me. But take note its torrent based. Therefore while its "streaming" u are also downloading the file. When install it will create a folder "baidu download" on your partition with the largest available space. So just remember to delete from there or from the program if not your harddisk will be full soon.

The thing is...few days ago its still 2-4mb/s, now is 0mb/s, no matter which site resource of 百度影音 i'm getting from

Slower abit i can understand, but now is nil

even things like tudou, http://baike.baidu.com/ baidu baike is loading slower/not loading at all now than normal (10am in Sun morn sure isnt peak hr?)
and by normal i mean weekdays 9-11pm

You mean MR will not have good connection to China streaming sites compared to , say, M1?

From Friday night until Sunday afternoon, I was having problems accessing to the usual sites in china. Nothing gets connected.

This morning, I did a speedtest to GZ, China.

by comparison, the other location speeds :

My setup : Laptop -> TP Link Router -> homeplug 100 -> Asus N15.

Rather disappointed. Perhaps my expectations are misplaced ?
Is there something that we should know ?

Hi guys,

Currently on the MR 100mbps plan. Thinking of subscribing to a VPN service as well.

Which VPN service providers work well with MR (i.e. good download/upload speeds, good connectivity etc)

Any advise from folks with VPN experience will be much appreciated.

I think you should mention what sites you are accessing so ppl can advise VPN or Teleport (which is free till June 2014, it I am not wrong).

I think MR's Teleport is website specific. Whether they will extend the service beyond June 2014 is also another question.

VPN should ideally have a China server and allow P2P traffic like BT.

Any suggestions? Or does everyone solely rely on Teleport and have no further need for a separate VPN service?

That is the reason why I asked to provide the sites. If the sites are country-specific, Teleport may not apply; if they are application specific, then Teleport may help.

The Teleport service is mostly certain "to be beyond 2014"; the exact question is "is it free beyond June 2014"

The Teleport service only supports limited websites. I'm looking for a VPN to provide greater security / anonymity online.

If anyone has used a paid VPN service with MR (excluding Teleport), do let me know your experience or recommendations.

I recently signed up with MR Pure plan @ 38, plan hasn't been activated yet (OTP not ready)... scheduled date for MR guy to come down for installation is on 11th Jan.. can anything be done?


Stupid to pay 38 for 100mbps when the anniversary is nearing and I could get a better deal right?
