depends on your pc wifi card. some allow some don't. I think Iphone shouldn't be a prob. my dad using iphone 4 and if i'm not wrong its connected to 5ghz. plus i'm using samsung s2 connect to my 5ghz. I'm using ASUS AC-66 btw.

S2 have 5ghz, iPhone 4 don't even have the actual Wi-Fi chipset to support 5ghz how you connect? lol :s13:

guys, can confirm with you all does ASUS 56U works with iphone, PC and macbook?

read somewhere might not be compatible because of 5gHz or something >_>
Well even if your devices don't support 5ghz the router still has 2.4ghz for them to tap on.

Heee... he confused with Ipod Touch 4 maybe..heeeee, but even my 1st Gen 1Pad can use 5Ghz.... so rule is:

IPHONE 5--5ghz OK
MacAir - depends on MODEL
iPod Touch 4 - yes
PC- depends on your INTERNAL CHIPSET
Samsung - depends on specs..

Have fun everyone... (a good question to update my KB)

There are 2 bands available with the higher-end Asus routers such as the N56U. The iPhone 5 and above are the only iPhones which support 5GHz, thus allowing them to connect to both 2.4GHz and 5GHz (which is faster). However, on the iPhone 4 you'll still be able to connect to the 2.4GHz band.

rem to use prog such as

inSSIDer for Home – Discover The Wi-Fi Around You | MetaGeek

See how crowded is your surrounding...some chips will not work in certain channels de...so can adjust ur channels in both the 2.4 and 5.0 ghz range till all your devices works

Hi mambo10,

If you'd like to access your own NAS from outside your home you would require a static IP. Let us know if you need anything else :)

still no news?

Hi, Jenies called you up on 26November and informed you about the removal of duplicate charges on November bill. They will also refund via GIRO 1 time relocation charge, however it will take up to 7 workings days.

The corrected bill is supposed to be :
Aug - 38.88SGD + 160.50
Sept - 38.88SGD
Oct - 38.88SGD

Just went to the My Republic booth at Sitex and found myself talking to a bunch of pricks.

Could not find bolts or Malcolm who are usually present during these events. What happened to My Republic? You guys have grown so big that you don't care much about re contracting customers?

Is the booth now manned by MR staff or resellers?

It's managed by MR staff. However, we may be out for some business and stuff.
