The free router given ASUS RTN15 and now Belkin N+ F5D8235.

Both router facing same issue, even tho MR engineer reconfigured the Asus router when he was here.

If you are also experienced the same download speed of around 8.8Mbps via direct connection to the ONT, then your ASUS router should not be the cause.

Most likely you have to call MR Hotline for assistance.

It seems like MR side got some issues with the connection speed.

Direct connection to ONT

Download 19.2Mbit/s
Upload 47.2Mbit/s
TCP Ping 5.3ms

Wired connection via ASUS router

Download 19.2Mbit/s
Upload 42.4Mbit/s
TCP Ping 5.5ms

Nothing was changed again and my wired connection speed via ASUS router is back to normal.

Download 96.1Mbit/s
Upload 48.3Mbit/s
TCP Ping 5.0ms

I also encountered the same issue and maybe you can try to run the Browser-based Quicktest (BBQ) again.

China is a tricky part for any provider out of China due to the way it's being segmented.

half of China is under CT and the other under CU. Thus, to reach the entire china would require a connection to both CT and CU plus identifying the endless yet ever growing list of unknown website in China.

We are doing what we can to provide the best possible connection to our customer.

Hi guys quick questions , am currently in 50/Mbps starhub contract over.
Been wanting to try a 300-500mbps plan. The ont point is in my living room but I only need internet connection for my study room. So will use homeplug? But I read the best possible speed is 100 Mbps if lucky... Then wasteful to subscribe 3-500 Mbps plan?

I think currently the highest speed homeplug is 600Mbps by Aztech.

Homeplug also has many factors that may affect the connection speed and not 100% guarantee will be better than wireless connection.

Anyone having issues right now? It seems my connection is alternating between bad and totally dead.

Very unstable.

Walao fiber... Maybe I will tell starhub upgrade to 100 Mbps cable...

Anyway, any bro here on 2-500 Mbps plan and using homeplug? How's the connection with homeplug? Can give some figured? Thx

P.s btw Singtel hp contract finish. Can sign mobile plan from m1 or starhub retaining current Singtel hp number?

Using 500Mbps homeplug with a 100Mbps plan works fine. I think 500Mbps homeplug can support 200Mbps or so.

You can port SingTel number to M1 or StarHub.
