Hi,

Just upgraded to 1 Gbps today.

Currently the speedtest result I get is roughly 500 Mbps.

Any idea where is wrong?

My device can support up to 1 Gbps.

Did you try with direct connection from ONT?

at least you can still play... i just watch my friend play... sad.... im also west side, telok blangah. this morning turned on the ont and router still no internet to my network. Is it just static IP customer getting screwed or what? how come some ppl have internet.

Yes. It is directly connected to the ont.

If the speed is achievable of more than 300Mbps, then it could either your computer or MR's ends.

Are you using a desktop or laptop?

If you refer to the previous posts, it was mentioned there are a few factors other than the network adapter that will affect the speed.

i had a similar problem.

i had a realtek NIC and its capable of 1Gbps, i was capped 500~600Mbps and when I switched over to my motherboard onboard NIC, it went up to 950Mbps

Seems like MR now only has 1 plan. If the existing contract ends, what would happen to the customer BB ? Would it be status quo, what price ? Or new plan ? Would the customer need to sign a new contract ?

yeah i thot it was odd, no lower end plans listed. I don't really need 1g plan, its only for surfing and I don't download much.

considering switching isp during pc show.

Myrepublic ask me to find a third party router as they are afraid their router cannot support to the rear end of master bedroom

Most SOHO router will not be able to cover such an area properly even if this space is devoid of furniture. For proper coverage an additional AP will be required for the job.

Thinking of crossing over to MR this coming PC show but need to keep the phone line due no nos porting at the moment.
