Can I check if there is a huge difference between the ultra and gamer plan?

edit: if i already have an existing fiber point(singtel fiber plan contract up), how long does it usually take for MR to get their service up?

Depend, if you game alot and require custom routing to gaming server, then go for gamer else ultra will do just fine.

MR must have clear most of thier backlog. I recontract yesterday after they called me saying i left 2 months of my 24month plan and eligible for immediate upgrade.

I said yes to upgrade and the guy said before sept they will call and come change the ont. Surprise they call me at 6pm to fix the appt on 31July.

Told them my last 2 month shld be free and they install at end july i bo hua, they said they will off set the last 2 month of the new 24month as free.

They suddenly so good to recontract customer har? Lol good enuff for me

better have black and white for this in case it doesn't happen

I'm on the giga plan, streaming from iqiyiand some other apps at times is a pain in the back.

In addition, do u need free Logitech G400s mouse? Then go for gamer. Gamer custom routing is quite good for popular online gaming. Black tag also nicer

pfft! just when i was thinking of stopping my sub to 3rd party dns services
somehow i am beginning to feel that streaming is not yet optimized on the gigaplans yet.

tried Merlin - doesn't work
tried behind ONT - works but I need the router

Faced the same issue on my AC56U. I had to flash a firmware 4-5 version release away from the latest version to "unlock" the performance. Best is to test the speed after each firmware to ascertain that the new firmware did not break anything.

Hi guys, I know that we have not been very active on the forums for the past few months, and you guys are often looking for us. I apologise for that, on behalf of all the other MR staffs as well. We are currently working on a project which we are all very excited for. It is an App, which will be scheduled to be released in Aug if all goes well. This is one of the main reasons why there was a lack of presence here.

Another reason was that we are currently expanding, and most of the manpower was being focused on training new staff. Again, I apologise for the lack of customer service standard in the recent months.

However, we still read the threads now and then whenever we are free, and should there be any major issues, do feel free to drop us a PM regarding it and we assist wherever we can. We have been replying PMs for a while now.

Get your act together, your customer service is non-existent now. I have been trying to get in touch with MR, non of my emails ever got a reply nor have I been able to get through your hotline and whatnot.

You are no longer a startup, if you are going to be 'revolutionary' as your pre-recorded hotline message states, better stop acting like one.

- offers from their game partners
- a Logitech mouse

The question is do you really need all of those because the extra $10/month will cost you a total $240 at the end.
