Hi guys, for those that are having trouble with MR, just go down to their HQ at ubi, don call anymore since their CS does not exist. Maybe bring along screenshot and show them how badly you are been affected. My colleague and i went down there, and we each receive a month free of subscription, do remember to get them to email you on the spot.

free month or not, i think most users who are affected just wants their problems resolve. having a fully stable connection is definitely better than free unstable connection

When more people go down to their HQ to complain, maybe they might do something about it. The maintenance that so called "solve" the issue during 9/10pm - 12am are just temporary solution from their side.

I think they are doing the trial and error method to fix the issues. In IT, in a complex system like internet connectivity, usually fixing something means breaking something else.

Maybe in your IT is acceptable with this kind of work, good life for you, but for mine, our got 0 tolerance for this kind of stuff. And is not acceptable. :s13:

Yeah, wish they could hasten the process to resolve the issue (even with opennet). Been down for almost 2 days & still counting.

A reasonable compensation would be expected, but ultimately wish they would try to resolve the issue on the day itself when I called in at 7am, rather having to wait till the next day afternoon. :s11:

Bro.. no matter how you sugar code your zero tolerance. Are you 100% confident that the system under you 100% fault free.
Even the hardest screw drive will blunt its head after a lot of usage and thus there is no such thing as an unbreakable system which is the idea i am trying to bring across.

That's why i say you got a good life there :) There is no such thing as 100% but there is 99.9%, if you know what i mean. ;)

Actually my colleague is the one that bang table, because he experience worst than mine. Haha.

I was charged for the month of Sep 14 & I have informed MyRepublic that I have no more contract with them wef 20 Sep 2014, and they promise to refund me, but till to-date, I have yet to receive my refund and now they are charging me for the month of Oct 14 again. WHAT THE HELL ARE THEY TRYING TO DO. Informed them thru Facebook Post, PM them and also raise a ticket to them, all no replies and they still dare to charge me without providing any service for 2 months. I have already made a complaint to IDA, they have already taken up the matter. In the mean time, I have already called up the bank to stop payment to them. For those who are thinking of signing up MyRepublic, better think twice.

Instead of sending the technician on the day I reported (yesterday), they got him to come down the next day (today) and realized the fault was with Opennet. It only gets escalator to Opennet today, and being a weekend tomorrow I am hoping that Opennet will resolve it asap rather then pushing it every where else. Trying to be patient but....

99.9% is an easy target to hit. Most of my support base are on at least 99.95% and the highest one are practically like 100% (99.95%). As service level gets closer to perfection, so does the price goes closer to infinity. When price goes closer to infinity, so does manpower, infrastructure and development budget. Thus when supporting extreme insanely cannot go down services, you have a team equal the size of the Olympic Team Singapore. I don't think good life applies if you are managing this amount of manpower and logistic but thats IT for you.

PS: for ISP, if there was any reasonable number for the SLA/SLG for home consumer connectivity, it would be 90% with specific terms. Go figure how much downtime can 90% translate to.

To my horror, what I feared is true. A joint check is required together with MR & OpenNet. Then again, a slot for the joint check cannot be booked till Monday. An interim solution (provide mobile broadband .etc) should be provided I believe. Sighs.

Bro, are you staying at toa payoh lorong 1? I am encountering the exact same problem but I do not have any update from the CS. How you got to know about the joint check?

Just a heads up for wow gamers on oceanic realms. Blizzard has located their oceanic servers to aussie land and im not sure if this route is optimised for MR. Expect your latency to get worse compared to connecting to los angeles.
