I ported out from myrepublic to tpg. Using mr since Nov 11 2020. This month port out to tpg. Speedtest is one thing but as long I get more than 5 mbps and low ping is fine. Mr is ok but when at malls got reception but no data is a headache. Jurong point got reception but no data a lot of time especially inside ntuc extra.... Even m1 users face the same issue since all under same network.

There will always be blind spots for any Telco. Just use whichever is good for your locations. Thanks for sharing

Hi all, I noticed that myRepublic M1 network has this issue where in blind spots, although I see 4G+ and reception is good, mobile data doesn't work at all, it is only when signal drops to just 4G then things start to load. Any explanation why is this so? I contacted myRepublic support and they could not explain, just keep telling me my office area (Kallang) will have a repeater installed soon to combat poor connection speeds.

I’m on VIVIFI 10GB $14.98 plan. Tempted to jump over MR for the $17 for 50GB since previously my experience with CL was ok, but ported out due to promo ending after a year. Westsider here, not sure if MR is as good as CL after seeing all the less than favourable review from peeps here...

100% agree.
No reason why m1 ain’t doing anything about it.

There is no good reason to pump in more $$$ to reduce their profits when everything is just fine....

Probably the engineers and planners do tell the M1 CEO that everything is fine

Only that 1 or 2 person here will keep singing praises about MR-M1. :s8:

I've already switched to Vivifi. Try MR/M1 at your own risks.

Yea, many years ago i already knew M1 was the worst of the 3. I didn't know they were THAT bad.

But a few months ago decided to give M1 a chance because they threw in a free cheap tablet for locking in a 1 year free SIM only contract. I was like, how bad can M1 be right?

Regret. Can't wait to port out after my 1 year contract. Lucky is just for my secondary line.

I do hold lines from all 4 mobile telcos personally, so i can vouch how good or bad each telco can be.

Hai. I was curious and tried M1 also. Luckily mine was SIM only and hopped out.
