the boundless data isn't that bad lah

YouTube is definitely nono
Facebook and Instagram is painful

but i was able to WhatsApp, browse hardwarezone forum, and recently even play the new AR game "The Walking Dead: Our World" with little issues

and with the OTP issues recently resolved... Cheers to all fellow $8 Uno plan users. :s13: i think we have the best deal so far.

Also gonna try the $6 data roaming when i go Malaysia next week. stay tuned for reviews.

ST legacy line have 12GB data, why want downgrade all the way to 1GB? (Let's just say the boundless data is almost dead to many)

Yeap, I was in JB yesterday and roaming is ****. Will be cancelling it. I either had no connection, or I had H+ connection but speeds were terrible. A big difference from when I was on M1's Data Passport.

Indeed bro, gonna complain to MR.. Although connected to celecom LTE+ its as if like it's throttle speed and high latency, reminds me of 56k..

Using a celecom prepaid sim and so much better

Tried the roaming booster in msia last weekend. 4G speed was fine. however, it kept dropping to E especially when commuting from one area to another. Overall 7/10

I just got the email reminding me to sign up for Uno/Ultimate by end of this month

I am thinking of getting one new line first for my iPad Pro, then decide if want to port over my M1 line over to MR too but I understand that my 3GB SIM only plan is no longer existant (only got 2GB now unless 12 month contract)

Either way this Uno deal is way better than prepaid or even multi SIM services, right?

Would said depends on what kind of games you playing. But most of the online game or games required you to be constant online one are totally unplayable. Only those games which are like click on some things just a bit playable.

Using data roaming now in Malaysia.

had a friend using Starhub prepaid data roaming, mostly ok surfing.

For me on MyRepublic, the data is patchy even when signals are strong..

conclusion: if the destination is supported by starhub prepaid data roaming, go for that over MyRepublic

Received email about this too.

Had been wanting to support them once they got into mobile services, but seeing that it's only an MVNO and what's more, Starhub network that I've never had good experience with... :(

10 more days to decide, and looking at most of the feedback here... :o

I was hoping they'd be the 4th telco, TBH. :s22:

Im on a postpaid plan with a big telco and out of contract

So I should be a prime candidate for UNO

My monthly plan is 500mb, 300 min talk time, 600 sms and my monthly cost is 24$
And I rarely exceed it.

UNO will cut that by 2/3rds but reading the feedback here Im somehow not enthusiastic.
Thats strange, I should be feeling elated.

Also I cant figure this MR app out....why is it i can log in to my acc on my laptop but the same details don't
work on the app? Weird.

Thanks good point, games in question need to send/receive requests every 2 mins approximately

Sounds like I should not count on the Boundless Data then :s13:
