Tried all 3. The message is "the sim card does not allow a connection to this network". I read the faq seems like need a roaming add on?
Anyone on the 5g plan and can work here (receive sms) in tw without subscribing any add on?

The faq mentioned on app need to enable roam.. XD

thats m1 in general so i tried to avoid too .. i never try m1 5g not sure too

May be you guys wanna manual select MyRepublic as the telco network even if you are in Singapore! Don't opt for auto selection.
I do that for all telcos, be it SIMBA, VIFIFI, etc. It probably helps.

Will try to set static to myr than to use auto network see any difference thanks!

I know it’s very frustrating and embarrassing especially when you’re doing mobile payment.

This was perhaps the final straw for me when I decided M1 doesn’t work for me, since the outbreak of Covid I’ve been relying on mobile payment for hygiene reasons and expense tracking. So I dropped by Starhub store and signed up for sim-only 5G plan and requested for urgent port in and I’m surprised they’re able to do a same day port in on a Saturday.

Port ins can actually be done from Mon-Sat, not just Mon-Fri. But it depends if your receiving telco wants to work on Saturday to facilitate the port in or not, and if you submit the request early enough on Saturday.

Every loads faster so you end up doom scrolling social media faster too.

eh .. normal use wont use so much lor .. what app do you use to use so much data ? even youtube / netflix / fB those things dont use much.. just speed test use alot

just now at tgpagar market trying to load grab pay 2 x not loading !!! paid my food in cash I walked to another stall and it loads instantly .. omg

Well! I did experience a few seconds of network disconnection at home just now too coz whenever my phone has no cell signal, my phone will trigger an sound and visual alert.

Anyway, just a few seconds. Cell signal was back instantly after that.

Can try vivify. Quite good and reasonable priced and with auto roaming included.
