Connection seems bad for me over the past few days. Have 4 bar but YouTube cannot load while on underground NS line. Can only load at 240p like watching censored show.
If it doesn’t improve I’m going back vivifi

Vivifi when it’s crowded and underground it won’t load slowly?

Does anyone using the 5G plan on eSIM have the issue of random no signal periods at around 12am-2am every day?

Usually shows greyed out bars on my phone (iPhone 14 Pro) and if I airplane mode on-off it jumps to no signal. Checked that they are not doing any network maintenance and have already requested a reissue of eSIM but its still a common occurrence in the middle of the night.

Strange because I was previously on Starhub 4G but it was definitely a lot more stable and less occurrences of random full bars but nothing loading as well.

I was at amoy 2nd floor corner buying drinks .. grab pay wont load the barcode scanner.. this time i quickly change to LTE and bamb! scanner came online .. the 5G there CMI ....

I stop using 5g already. No point paying for 5g.

So, meaning that MyRepublic 5G plan can only connect to 5G SA only.

It will not connect to 5G NSA even with the option "Use 5G SA only" is turned off on phone?

I recall it was mentioned in their website or FAQ, their 5G network is SA only.
If that's the case, there would be nothing to fallback except 4G

I see. I thought so too.

Well, we can't have the best of both worlds, SA and NSA.

When 5G SA is not available. I can't Hotspot to my tablet. So, I too, had to switch to 4G to be able to Hotspot to my tablet.

No complaint though since 99% of time we are connected to the much superior 5G SA! :cool:
