I too subscribed to MyR 5G standard plan and my device is also S23U, many places I went and tested, those areas where 5G are available will always be 5G SA, thus far never encountered NSA.
Maybe check if your device for SA is enabled.

At bedok mall, 100mbps speedtest.. i suspect they give me a NSA sim

If you are using S23U, then go to Settings>Connections>Mobile Networks
Ensure the selection "Use 5G Standalone networks" is enabled.
Network mode selected is "5G/LTE/3G/2G (auto-connect)"

Starhub & M1 no have NSA, only SA.
I figured it out. Some stations of 4G cell HAD NSA last time, and still broadcast and advertise NSA coverage, dispite the NSA portions being turned off. Extracted the raw info out of a 5G modem i had lying around..

Just ported over to gomo 4g from myr 5g (never really used the 5g due to loss of connectivity when switching between networks)

Connection is much smoother now with noticeably less dead zones. Can finally take back my $100 deposit also

New user using an iPhone 13 Pro purchased in the USA. Just sharing my experience on MR “5G” plan via eSIM. Supposedly a 5G plan, but I’ve only ever seen 4G speeds on my phone, can’t do data tethering for Zoom meetings etc.

ESIM sign up and activation was super smooth - took just 5 min.

Anyway, for others who are contemplating - Beware! Not sure if experience is different on other MVNOs.

Hi.
Switch to MyRepublic 5G early this year.
So far ok except when it switch to Starhub 4G blindspot.

Planning to switch my wife line to MyRepublic 5G.
Is the promo of $17.95 for 100Gb in which you need to apply at the shop still available?
