New plan is priced at S$7.99 per month (S$8.71 after GST).
This is a 4G-only plan that offers 188 GB of local data for the first 3 months, after which it reverts to 88 GB per month. The plan includes 200 minutes of talk time and 100 SMS, and is available for the first 12,000 customers.

It offers 1 GB of Shared Data Roaming for Malaysia and Indonesia, valid for the first 6 months.

Not 100% enticing though ...

Why do they always like to roll out plans like circles.

188GB for first 6 months, thereafter 88GB.
Same pattern as Maxx and circles.

Need to consider that this is M1 and their network coverage is not the best.

Because package is probably from M1, just like how all the Singtel MVNOs suddenly started offering similar plans at $10 within months of each other.

Does maxx belong to M1 officially ? I think I should transfer from myrepublic saver plan to maxx to get lower price and higher free roaming data.

Is there a better plan than this? If we take into consideration 88GB is the base data offered at $8.70?

I've seen many complains about M1 MAXX having slow speed even though reception is strong at full bar (these complains seems to be quite common, even on M1 MAXX's fb advertisements people are complaining).
Does that mean MyRepublic would be the exact same experience since they are using M1's network?
If so than there isn't a point signing up for MyRepublic since M1 MAXX is offering way more data for a similar price than MyRepublic.

Meanwhile I've one plan on Giga 20GB for $10 per month. No issues so far but the data offered in the other SIM only telcos are way more generous than Giga hence I'm wondering if I should port over.

Even Changi Mobile latest promotion have such limited period kinda promo, and they are all from M1. So it could be a free offer given by M1 to its MVNOs.
