Welcome. 👍🏼👍🏼 Still waiting for better number after 8889 xxxx. The back 4 number still not really nice.

Yes if there is a better number, sign up again haha but I doubt they’ll release more numbers with double 8 at the back for free.

i am on MR Lite signal and reception of data all is good but i realised the data abit draining? was watching only 1 episode of mewatch and it drop from 4gb to 2gb its almost 2gb of a 50min video but when i use circle life it only took like few hundred mb for one episode. Also if i not watching drama normal usage also deduct alot... Anyone experience same fast data draining issue?

Mewatch data use alot one. Personally I exceeded my data before on M1 30GB. It was 29.5GB, then I though still got 500mb till 2359, while watching for around 15mins, then I receive SMS from M1. Immediately I realised, ****, data exceeded.

Back to MR, for me I find it pretty ok eh. Quite accurate.

seriously the managed speed is only 384kbps, it is not suitable for youtube at all, even you can stream smooth at 140p or 240p, the user experience is not good.

the lite plan is still pretty much suitable for people who use the data monthly that is within the 6GB. the unlimited data is only for those happened to finish the 6GB towards the end of billing cycle but do not want to boost the data by buying extra add-on for basic tasks such as light web surfing or whatsapp etc only.

circles life managed speed is at 0.75Mbps, that is about 2x the speed of MR managed speed at 384kbps. although both are nothing impressive speed. 0.75Mbps can probably allow one to watch 480p smoothly still but nothing impressive too.

one thing can confirm is that MR managed speed to watch youtube the user experience will not be good certainly.

yeah. with the price of only $10, we should expect to use the plan like a $10 plan too. seriously dun expect too much on the 384kbps MR managed speed, just manage your data usage within 6GB monthly and use the managed speed only towards the end of billing cycle as last resort if really exceeded the 6GB.

if need more data, either go for higher plan or even consider to sign TPG $10 50GB to supplement it.

i am still hoping lion city to have a plan that cost a fixed price but providing unlimited data at fixed speed such as 3Mbps to 4Mbps monthly that is real 'buffet' style instead of whatever that are offered currently.

Can. Since there are so many Mvno out there, you go register and set up a company. Buy wholesale bandwidth with Singtel, implement unlimited data at 4 Mbps. Sure got people sign up with you, hereicome 😃

MVNO is offering a cut-throat price. They brought the data form 3 telcos and resell it to us. Most can't afford to employ phone/email/storecustomer service while some even left the game. Like Zero/ OYA this two left the game.

MNO like TPG will losing money, at least 6-8 years to turn over their 4G. By then 5G is leaving while 6G is coming.

Haha so far no telco has done that yet. No data cap, but speed limitations. Can come up with different plans

4mbps at $10
10mbps at $15
25mbps at $20

Instead of data cap, they use speed cap.

Yes. This is what I am looking forward to. Even bolehland or Taiwan has similar plans like this already.

that’s mobile broadband - unlimited but with speed cap. All telcos had that previously. however, such plan was only for data usage including sms but not calls.

They should do it the same for normal mobile plan.

Yes they should.

However is all about revenue, all go down to cost. Especially when the company mainly invested with "G".

Maybe TPG will come out with a new XL plan. (not trial) - Support them if they come out with it.
