yeah, would probably end on 30 June. Hopefully, no more extension. Because no point extending when you keep saying limited time offer. Or they can do it like a pop-up plan instead.

Like the uno plan, many ask them to bring back. They bring back at $18 :s13:

yup, your old telco line will be gone at 11pm. By 12.30am, your port in number should have replaced the temp number (when calling out).

I tried calling in from another number to the ported number, cannot get through, as probably they are routing other services.

thank you, do you know when they will send the login details for theirn MR mobile app?

How Long did t take for the UNO $8 to be really ended as a limited time promo?

They launched Uno $8 when MyRepublic first rolled out their Mobile plans somewhere in May 2018. The plan ultimately ended on 31 July 2018 (based on the email record that I have).

I'm on Zero1 1GB to Unlimted Data plan. Wonder I should switch to MR Lite Plan?

Will signal coverage be the same or worse, and how worse? For both voice and data?

Probably get new number instead of porting. Or just stick to Zero1?

MR is now using M1, coverage is no issue. For voice, you get VOLTE or 4GVoice which zero1 does not have.
Do you have any issues with Zero1 like billing issues previously? If you want to try out MR, you can get a new number, should it perform well in your expectations, you can port in your number later

Did you check your spam email too?

checked my spam, no welcome email.

the MR customer service replied and said that it will take take up to 48 hours for the welcome email login to be sent.

so it seems like porting will not be done on the same day when SIM card is delivered.

I think it's different, porting and the welcome email is different.
But then again, normally telcos and mvno advise 1-3 working days

Question....for My Republic on M1 network, is it possible to disable voice mail? It seems like it is not possible.

For light usage, advisable to go for MR Lite or Giga or TPG?
Seeing that the plans are all $10..

Lite usage, myrepublic $10 will be good. Good amount of data and 300mins 300sms. Giga 100mins will be a little. Tpg limited connection at underground will be a concern.

Thanks. As long as coverage got no issue, I’m fine. I have StarHub and it’s not very good.

Zero1 billing. Confusing. But no overcharging. Just damn confusing bill. I check every freaking single line and whenever the bills come.

Got free voicemail. Hmm...

I’m a bit confused on the voicemail FAQ. I can only use the MR line to retrieve my voicemail (outgoing fees applicable)? Possible to use a land line to retrieve voicemail? And outgoing call applies?
Don't think you can use a fixed line to retrieve voicemail. Must use your mobile line to call to retrieve voicemail. The minutes you call to retrieve voicemail will be deducted from your free bundled mins. VoiceMail I do use sometimes it's good.

i see. so looks like the Lite $10 plan may be extended again. Close to the last few days of 30 June 2020 we will know this.

TPG is totally not recommended as their network coverage for underground MRT is almost zero and only selected underground MRT stations according to the feedback of some users but they are very very rare still as of now.

Giga is not on full service like other MVNOs, similar to Gomo. Both do not come with outgoing call support while roaming. This can be an issue if one needs to make urgent outgoing voice calls while roaming.
it has only 1GB lesser data than MR Lite and 200 smses and 200 mins talktime lesser than MR Lite.
No unlimited data after the bundle data at 384kbps speed like MR Lite.

Unless for reason that M1 network is not good at your area or the places that you are mostly frequent in, else MR lite is a no brainer the best overall $10 plan as compared to other competitors. Importantly the rest of plans you consider, there are no promo end date which you can switch to them anytime if you are not good with MR lite. Once promo is over, you will not get it anymore similar to the previous UNO $8 they had.

Alternatively you can consider CMlink at an average $12.86/mo for 7 months (promo ends 30 June 2020 - same end date as MR Lite). Then look for other better plan after the 7th month with them as it is not lacking of good promo plans for sim only nowadays.

Do you mind to share what is the exact 'managed' speed you get with Zero1 after you finished the 1GB data?

Zero1 you get throttle at 512kbps at first and it lower to 256kbps

MyRepublic you get throttle at 386kbps.

Look like 6gb should be enough for you. Why not try it?
