I signed up primarily to transfer ownership of the line to me without fees.

Contacted the MR support to see if they can covert my deposit to be a credit against future bills, they cannot.

Probably looking to switch again after a month or two. Probably StarHub Giga.

Now having 2nd thoughts about switching over. Probably wait few months n see if MR changes this policy

not all are asked to pay. it depends on ur credit report (telco one not the usual credit card etc. one).

if u terminate the line, they refund the $100 quite fast. so it depends if u are comfortable to have $100 locked at their side while u continue to use their service until the day u terminate.

I think they already got our particulars liao. This lucky draw is probably to get our permission to allow them to spam us with their marketing materials via call, sms and email. Probably some of us when we registered, we specifically did not put a tick on the section where we allow them to contact us.

Anyway, website was down, then they converted it to a Google Docs entry liao.

they just get our consent to 'sell' our particulars to their partners. haha.

u can just switch for one month to transfer ownership then port out again. then ur $100 deposit can get back after one month too.

Anyway, I really like MR Lite plan offerings lor. The other similarly priced plans do not really come close. 300min talk time is good and 6GB is also the highest for that price plan.

- 386kbps throttle.
- VOLTE

Even the uno plan on MyRepublic $8 is still great. (Starhub)
- 1000 min outgoing
- free incoming
- 1gb
- 368kbps throttle.

other than tpg (coverage underground, some website and app don't load and phone call issues)
this plan really cover most of the stuff, and it works as good as m1 line with volte.

M1 got but u cannot decide how much sup lines can share. I got 1100 mins talktime but my shared lines only get up to 100 mins in total

no issues for me.
Actually, for all 4 telcos, M1 receives OTP fastest than the rest. MR is using M1

last time i had issues with DBS OTP (with M1) but all other apps works, so in the end, they asked me to check with DBS instead.

And I went to search, indeed it's DBS side that has errors.

Do you have other services having otp issues than Singlife?
You might want to check with singlife.

That report is near decade old. Compared to the no. of otps we receive now, it would have been far less in 2012.

Wah Starhub giga has upped its 10 buck plan from 5GB to 6GB!

With data rollover, it seems the perfect plan for me to jump to!
